  1. She can do all her vaccinations there in CN except DTAP . its not available there for adults. she can do it in us

About Influenza depends on what time she is going to have her interview if it's after winter, might not be required. The medical centre will tell her.

Also some like MMR,VARICELLA,HepB more than one shot required so better she start taking them earlier so she can get done with all her shots cheaper in China .

  2. "The police certificate from your country of nationality is a must for your K visa application. You may show up for your interview without the police certificate, but you need to submit it to the Consulate afterwards."

This is what the consulate replied me back about the same question.

The guidelines say that a waiver is "recommended", but they may insist if you lived there a long time (eg most of your life). How long were you there?

  3. Hi All,

I am sorry if I sound ignorant. My spouse and I had only just started the process and it has been rather overwhelming. I was still not able to figure out a solution after rounds of search on this website :( Therefore I'm posting my question here so that maybe someone who was in a similar situation could shed some light on it.

I was born Chinese but have lived overseas for about 10 years. I do not have Chinese citizenship or valid IDs that are required to obtain new police certificates any more.

I do, however, have an old notarial copy of police certificate that covers till just before I left China. Is it, by any chance, still usable? I know it was generated 10 years ago, but I haven't lived there since then so shouldn't it be good enough? I also tried to call some notaries in China to find out if they can reproduce this copy and put a new date on it, because I thought it would be slightly better than the old one. The answers I got were divided. On top of that, almost all of them were confused why I needed something that's not current. If I could get a current certificate I would but that's out of the question (or so I think) considering I don't have the needed documents. From your experience, am I even expected to provide a police certificate from China that covers from the year I turned 16 to now?

    Thanks much!

  4. Hi every one,

Ive got some questions about police certificate

My fiancé & I have got our NOA1 on Mar03,2016 and just waiting for issuance of NOA2

Im working in China and holding my iranian passport.

I just read everyone needs police certificate to submit on interview day but since Im recently living in china and will be interviewed in Guangzhou wanna know, shall I apply for this to China police or have to get it from Iran through our consulate here .

Secondly, If I have to apply for it in our consulate in China, it almost will take like 2montns to be ready, so can I do it in advance or just have to wait to get documents before interview n then do it ?

Im just afraid time be so tight that time and I won't be able to do it in time, would be great if any of you that have already got this experience, give me some help about it

    Thanks
