Hi all,
Thank for all your help. I read the instruction again. Yes. I do not need the G-325A for her.
This is my last question I promise:
On form I-485 for my step daughter (K-2), part 3A: asking for father name. Do I suppose to put her Father name or my name as I am now her step father. (Her father passed away 8 year ago in Vietnam).
Regards,
nhatrang.

Dear Yodrak,
I wish you can tell me what i missed and what you mean here: G-325a?
As always I appreciate you and everyone here.
Thanks,

Thank you very much. I did read the instruction now.
I have a question on form I-325a for K-2:
My step daughter is 8 year old. Should she or her mom sign this form for her? There is no box for preparer.
Thanks,
Nhatrang

Hi all,
Should I send the AOS packages for my wife K1 and step-daughter K2 separately or all together in one USPS package?
Thanks,

Chuck and Kim,
You could be an immigration attorney now, my friend...
I am joking but you are a valuable member of this forum especially with the VN group.

Cristy,
Thank you for your response. I am very clear now.
Where did you send the packages to? I live in Maryland.
Thanks again?

Yodrak,
Thank you for clarification. So I will need two set of these forms:
G-325a
I-864
I-485
One for my wife and one for her daughter. I DO NOT need the I-130. Correct?
Also do they each need two passport photos or four passport photos?
Regards,

The link does not help. That is why I get confused and really need help.
My Fiancee (k1) and her daughter (k2) got to USA on 08/22/2006. We got married on 09/11/2006.
I am applying AOS for both of them. Do I need to fill out the I-130 for k2?
Many thanks in advance

Hi all,
I am not sure what forms I need to fill out for K-2 AOS. I am using the following forms to apply for her mother (K-1) AOS:
1. G-325a
2. I-864
3. I-485
4. I-765 (optional)
5. I-131 (optional)
Can someone point me to the right direction with K-2 AOS please?
Many thanks in advance.

Green/Tran,
This forum will provide you more than enough information and get you to the whole process successfully just like ChuckandKim said. But if you decide to get service to get your fiancee some comforts if you can not be around her. I would recommend you and her to use the IOM service. My fiancee used them and they are very professional. You should not just listen to them. Read this forum and learn from all of us who have been gone through the process. That was what I did.

Martinart,
My fiancee and I call them very often. I also email them. They are responding professionally and quickly by the way. Sometimes, email replies can be 4-5 days or hours depend on how busy they are.
Give them a call Monday.

Hi Everyone,
First of all, I would like to thank everyone in this VJ especially the VJ HCMC group.
It has been pleasure to know all of you.
Well, she just called and let me know that she passed and had the PINK paper. But then they found out that her Medical exam is not done yet. The medical result will be at ChoRay hospital at 2pm today. Therefore, they took the Pink and gave her the Blue paper with a note saying: Waiting for Medical result. I and some other VJ members knew this would happen if you do not have the medical exam done on time.
I hope the Medical exam result this afternoon is Okayed. Then I can smile and officially said we are PINK.
Her interview was very simple and very quick.
-How did you meet your fiancee?
-how many times did he visit VN?
-What did you do in Thailand with him?
-They read one of our old hand written letters (we had 48 total)
-Do you have any relatives in the US?
That was it. The CO is a nice older man. He filled in the Pink paper then took it back after he found out about her medical exam is missing. She explained to him she is still waiting the result from the hospital. He said just bring it here when she gets it and they will give her another pink paper.
Again, thank you everyone and best of luck to those who are still in the process...

STL_HCMC,
We like IOM a lot. They are very professional in the preparation. They will also meet her next week to do a final check and prep her for the interview.
I have an immigration lawyer prepared for our papers in the US before I found this VJ. She is doing a very nice job. I am not complaining. She actually called my fiancee last week to talk to her to prepare her for the interview. Since I am not with her during the interview process, I hope IOM will cool her down. The service is not bad: $50.00 for adult and $25.00 for children. They do really know what they are doing. So that helps while I am not there with her. I keep her inform from all the news from this group, all the questions from Matt, Chuck, etc. It really help us prepare. Thanks again, guys.
Hey...I am praying for you to get the PINK next week. Please keep us inform...Best of luck!!!

Chuck,
Sorry, I did not write it very clear. She did complete some of the medical exams at IOM and the results are fine. It's just the x-ray that is no good at IOM and they have to send her to ChoRay for additional lung test. So I hope she is okayed for the interview.
She also used IOM service to check all the documents before the interview. We have all the documents and evidences ready now.

She actually went to the IOM for the medical exam. The problem is that she had the chest x-ray. They found something in the x-ray. She did have lung problem about 11 years ago. Therefore, IOM automatically asks her to go to ChoRay hospital to have three asputum tests (phlegm coughed up from the lung). ChoRay is the only hospital in VN that US consulate approve for lung test.
The problem is that she is not sick anymore the last 11 years. How can she get the phlegm from the lung and three times in 3 contiguous days. That is the reason we are so stress out but I hope she can get it done next week.
Unfortunately I know she will get the blue slip if the test is not completed next week but IOM told her she can still continue the interview as schedule. She called the US consulate. They confirm she still can come to the interview without rescheduling.
My hopes right now are:
1. She will get the phlegm and the results
2. She can still be interviewed.
3. She can pass the interview
4. The medical exam is done and we can update them after that.
Nhatrang,

STL_HCMC,
Let me start your rally. My fiancee and I wish you the best of luck on your interview next week. You are a great member of this forum. Think PINK, my friend!!!

Bruce,
Thanks you for your advice. I am pretty sure she will have a blue one if the medical is not done by the interview date. We are very sad and worry but I hope we can update the medical result if she passes. I will ask her to get some written notes from the ChoRay hospital. This is the only one hospital that does lung examination (approved by HCMC).

Have anyone in this VJ from HCMC that had the medical exam NOT completed before the interview? Will they interview you without the medical exam result? What will happen after the interview if you pass it but the medical exam not yet completed?
My fiancee has to go through the asputum test (phlegm coughed up from the lung). It has been more than a week and she cannot get it out? Anyone have any tricks on how to get the phlegm (da`m) of the lung. She went to the hospital 2 times but fail to get it out. She has to come back next week.
Thanks in advance.
