  1. Hello my Wife and I just sent our AOS packet in the company who processed our paper work made us fill out the G-325 and not the G-325A as far as i can tell there is not one difference on the forum besides the exp date on the top right. Both Require the exact same info on both sheets. Should i Send a G-325A to USCIS myself or should we be fine? I just keep reading it Has to be the G-325A

  2. Yes this may be in the wrong place if so please direct me. Me and my husband are expecting a child in the next couple of months my dr is Filipino and he said I must use my maiden name as our childs middle name? why would I have to since my child will be a us citizen? if I don't use my maiden name will it affect when I report child birth to PI?

  3. That's pretty messed up for them, how about your tracking status, what does it say?

"Issued". The appointment websites says left councilors sectoring processed for deli delivery

The embassy found it and it was at nvc again they put it in the wrong pile they say two days now lol

  6. Our interview on 06/14/2016 was approved later that day the status switched to admin review then an hour later to issued how long does it usually take after issued to reach 2go mall of Asia it's been 3 days on issued just curious

  7. Embassy will want the PSA BC. Would be good to have an extra copy or two for bringing to the USA

They took my fiancée's NSO BC no problem. She just got it last month still says NSO and signed by an NSO officer who sigend NSO which is weird because the other offices say PSA but the office up north in pampanga san Fernando still come out NSO so you should be fine

  8. Filing the I-129F before the finality of annulment is registered with PSA has burned a fair number. I know of some that give advice that you can file the I-129F with USCIS early, and then I read of them be denied at USEM later ... bad advice from those others cost those couples a visa. USCIS may not understand the total process in the Philippines for annulment and approve the petition but USEM does and they will deny and kick the petition back to USCIS ;)

Care takers or nurses? Those must have more going on that tossed up RED flags with them, as I know many that are nurses and are now in the USA, married and living their lives.

    Really appreciate the information. Thanks

Mine is a nurse as well we passed.

That's an extremely high percentage of denials of K-1's you saw. Way out of the norm. You must be free to marry when the K-1 is filed. Unless the last i is dotted and t crossed, you're not free to marry. But those were people depending on the annulment, not divorced Filipina. I also no many nurse and caretakers that have came on K-1's. There's nothing unusable about that. I think you're hearing one of those "they say" rumors that have no bearing on the facts. Like you need to deposit show money to get a visitors visa to the USA.

It was scary hearing the deniles first hand my fiancee is a nurseas well and she was so scared because it seemed the councilors didn't like nurses today for some reason.

  9. If he was not a USC when he filed the divorce then in the eyes of the Filipino Government you are still married to a Filipino citizen. You'll need an annulment before you can file for a K1.

If he is a USC then you take your divorce decree and Philippines marriage certificate to your local civil registry to file for a resolution of the marriage. Once you have the annotated MC back from NSO/PSA then you can file the K1.

I did see 2 filipinas denied today while in line both due to the fact the officer told them the annulment had to be final before the k-1 was submitted to the USCIS . Also off topic a bit but 2 more were denied for being licensed care takers the officers pretty much told them they no if your a nurse or care taker it's usually not a true relationship but a faster way to get into the states to work. We were number 11 in line and 5 in front failed and 6 passed including us.

  10. Was not asked for nothing was asked for from us as there as well. They asked how we met our ages . And she said congratulations your approved.

I did notice 3 girls who are licensed care givers were denied by three different counselors. You could here the. Counselors say they now what happens when a caregiver is brought over that it is more for employment.

Did you bring a Letter of Intent to marry? Did the CO take it or do you still have it?

If you didn't bring a Letter of Intent to marry did you get a 221g for not having it?

Inquiring minds would like an update

  11. Thank you guys recently contacted the agency that my fiancee and I are going through "Filipina fiancee visa services" to get an updated copy of ours and they told me that I didn't need an updated for the interview . But it looks like it is always good to get a second opinion

  12. Your sending a copy of you birth certificate from the local registry is not going to fix the issue, If PSA is having issue finding your BC then maybe go to the local registry where you were born and have them submit another copy to PSA. Or find out the problem as to why your BC isn't showing up in PSA records.

The document must come from PSA, either a BC or the waiver. If this doesn't happen I don't see the visa being issued.

Don't you get the Birth Cert. from the NSO?

  13. Have you called NVC for your MNL# so she can start preparing her documents for her interview? Paid your fee? Schedule your interview, medical and CFO? No need to wait for your case to be sent to the Embassy.

Yes sir Medical is today shes on her way now. interview is scheduled for june 14th CFO is may 31st.

Usually not more than 2 weeks.... usually.

And as said, once you have your MNL # it is time to ROCK n ROLL!

That is what i thought. ive seen people who got there case number after me and sent after me already arive at the embassy that is why i am asking. seems odd

  14. SSA is a funny critter, IF you get someone with a brain and you apply for your SS card after you are married it will be in your married name. Finding that rare critter is difficult... Just the same it is not a big deal to go back to SSA after you get your green card and have the name changed.

    https://www.ssa.gov/forms/ss-5.pdf

As for name to use after marriage... use your married name for ALL documents... ALL including AOS (I-485)

Thanks Hank!! my other question is, is it better to apply for a ssn before marriage? with the estimated time of arrival and wedding date there would not be enough time to get a SSN and do the AOS since right now our local offices are about 3 weeks out for a SSN. Can the name be changed on the SOcial Security card after the AOS is sent in? my Biggest concern is getting my fiancée on my medical right after marriage my yearly enroll date is sept 1st. and making sure the last name is right on the Green Card is the biggest issue.
