Does it have severe or minimal water damage?

I'm not sure if the following is still the procedure so this is just an fyi.

Thanks so much! Not entirely sure maybe it was from the rain two days ago. Passport was wet outside and the inner pages were so moist. I let them all dry up overnight and it is just very wrinkled. Info pages and others are visible, not too severe. I am just letting it sit under something heavy to straighten them.

Oath ceremony today at 9am in Manhattan 🎉

Didn't expect it to take just 15 minutes. I traveled abroad between interview and ceremony, and it  was not a problem as I had returned more than 14 days before the ceremony.

@Gijo12 Were you also in room 102? I was looking around wondering who you might be :)

Congrats!!! I know right it was quick. I was standing at like number 4!! So waited a little bit longer. It was still faster than I expected. Oath ceremony started right away once the room was filled with people (less than 20).

FYI room 102 is located in the lobby level behind  those elevators.

Hope everyone has a great week!!

I just had my interview today. Checked in on time in the morning at 9:20am and I was called in an hour. A lot of people in the morning.

The officer was a little bit cool . We went straight to Oath once I got to the office and officer asked for my green card, SSN , ID, and passport.  We went ahead to the Civic test, English and written test. Next, the officer started going through the questions on the application and focused on my unemployment history (2 months unemployed), asked how I was able to support myself. I said I was using my savings and supported by my husband. Then continues to go through all questions. Signed the iPad for the changes made on the application. Officer next asked for my 2019 tax return and all joint banking statement. Then I was giving the result : I passed the English and written test. But it said “A decision cannot yet be made” saying I will get a letter from the mail. Then she led me out and I saw her eyes smile saying have a nice day. Omg what does that mean... I’m worried now.

Finally Oath scheduled yesterday  on 11/24..

Ok yes I did send it with the n400 . But I don’t have the joint bank account. Did they ask for the joint bank statement? Did u apply on 3 yrs rule?

Yes I applied on 3yrs rule and waited a year for the interview. Maybe you can bring updated statements for other supporting that you have used before when applying for conditional removal.
Couple of members here advised me to bring the supporting between the date your applied and interview date. I did submit a lot when applied. But it all depends on your officer. I am glad I went prepared. The officer I had asked me for 2019 tax return and if I had any joint account statements. I gave the officer an updated mortgage statement, an updated bank statement, a copy of beneficiary on IRA account.....hope this helps

    Hello!

I was the first in line for the interview, at 10.15am. I was not called until 11am.

The interview went smooth, the officier looked tough (with the mask on) , but the second she talked, she was very sweet. She asked me to verify a couple of information and while she wa checking everything, she ran a background check on me which lasted approximately 10 minutes. My case had a red paper in it, she explained that it was  because I filed the exact date I was able to, and the system asked to check if it wasn't filed too early, just in case...

Then we proceeded to the questions, and verification of all my information. She asked me the civic questions and to write and read : "who can vote ?"

She said she will recommend me for approval, an hour after, my case was approved.

I am currently in line for a date to take the oath

    Nice Congrats!!!!!
I just hope mine is going smoothly as you guys. I called and Tier 2 IO said my case was still in draft last night  but everything looks correct. (because N652 result notice had wrong A-Number on it). IO said call back again if I receive any notice later with wrong info. Nothing he can do now.

Thanks. I was able to sleep last night at least. but I was a little surprised with "decision cannot yet be made"

@lamornext Yes I bought everything the officer asked for 2019 tax return, few joint accounts statement, mortgage statements. The officer put everything in that big folder and with the result letter, which I got that letter. Didn't mention any RFE
On the result letter: these boxes were checked for" You passed the tests ..." , "USCIS will send you a written decision about your application".. " B) You decision cannot yet be made bout your application"
The officer had a straight face the whole time. For example, the officer asked if I have traveled more than 6 months before during those trips. I asked " for the past 5 years?"  and officer nodded. I said "I was in XXX during 2014-2016". Then the officer was like " that's before you received your immigration status!!!!" like yelling back at me. Then I said " I am sorry. Then no, thank you" I got so scared. After two more questions about something else, I tried to tell her the mistake I made on the application about the return date (I mention couple weeks ago in this post) she looked at me and ignore it and then continue asking the next questions to "have you ever" section. Would that be why decision cannot be made? so scary. no small conversation, no smiling( though we had masks on, I can tell). At the end, the officer handed me the result paper. I said thank you very much and then the only time I heard the officer said have a nice day. I wonder how long I will receive the written decision. Thank you everyone here. You guys helped me a lot!!
