I have a question regarding the income requirements and affidavit of support. We are waiting for our NOA2 after filing on march 3rd. I can meet the 125% income requirement this current tax year. However I was not required to file taxes previous years because of low income. Would it be best to also provide an affidavit of support as a back up, or would this not be necessary?

I know this type of question is generally a common one. However, I'm curious if the consulate at the embassy would question the use of my fiance's ESTA and 60 day trip during the interview. For example, would they ask what she has been doing for work over those 60 days? Thanks

We did, how can they check? especially as a freelancer, my wife was a musician, she traveled all over we had no choice but to estimate. But the police reports will be required if she was there over 6 months. Theoretically that could be checked I suppose.
Thank you for this quick reply! Very good news.

Hello all,
My question is regarding the G-325a biographical form. My fiance has had dozens of small jobs and freelance work in different countries over 5 years. Many of these jobs/dates will be difficult to accurately list. How important is the accuracy in the section, and can we list just some of the main jobs she has had? Thank you for the help.

Thank you so much, this is very helpful! I think in this case the tax return will be best, because 80% of my income is tips and the return will allow me to show that.
