  1. Hi,

Little confused, our interview is next week.

I filled out the I-134 Affidavit of support already and have our paperwork ready.

I just read thru the instructions again from the Santo  Domingo embassy, it says

    Under the Consular Interview:

Affidavit of Support: Forms I-864, I-864A, Federal tax Returns, W-2s and a job letter...

So I do not use the I-134? I fill out the I-864???

And if so the form is called "I-864, Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the INA"

Is this the form I need to fill out..

Even the first question is confusing...

Basicaly asking for me to select one on why I am filling it out...

    If for a relative...

    a worker..

    part of a company...

    Joint sponsor...

    Nothing for fiance??

Any recent interviewees in Santo Domingo? What form did you fill out?

    Thanks

  2. Hi,

We got an email this morning from SantoDomingoVisas@state.gov saying

"This office is pleased to inform you that you can start the process of your fiancé/fiancée, K visa, application.  Starting in January 1st, 2015, most of the K visas (fiancé/fiancée) will need to make two appointments, to visit the Visa Application Center (VAC) and the Consular Section. Please visit the following links to get more information about the process:"

So now I am lost, How and where do I pay? Do I fill out the DS-160 online?

They had 2 links in the email..

One doesnt work, the other does not give clear instructions. Just information...

Has anyone recently gone thru this from DR? That could point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

    Brett and Yoly

  3. Hi,

I wanted to know if anyone has any answers to this question...

We were thinking that my fiances daughter would stay behind for a few weeks or a month when she first travels here.

I have applied for the k-2 under her I29f. I am not worried about that...

My question is, how long will it be before she can travel back to get her daughter?

I dont want her to be stuck here and the child stuck there? She is still too small too fly alone.

    Any answers?

    thanks
