Next month my fiance will be entering the US on our K1 visa. But before he enters he wants to go to Germany to visit a family member for a week then fly into Dallas. I'm thinking maybe this is OK but does anyone else know this answer before we book flights?

Still no availability as of today. Good thing our case stays active a period of time past our priority date. From what I understand now we wait for an opening for a date then go to the clinic to make an appointment for the medical ..someone told me no more than 2 weeks from interview date. Good luck!
