the divorce decree must have a raised stamp on it, the original or an original copy from the court
I have the original which I received straight from the Court on the day of the ruing and it has no "Raised" stamp anywhere on it.

1 Of the fiance. May want to get some extra. Some embassies seem to require 2 for the medical exam.
2, Separate fee. The USC pays for the I129. The fiance pays the standard DS-160 fee for the Jordan.
3. Just the divorce. You submitted it for the I-129. Send it to your fiance for the DS-160.
Thanks for the quick reply
Do I have to get the copy of the Divorce Decree Notarized and then send to her ?
Thanks again!

Hi,
I'm reading "Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants Amman, Jordan" which starts from Page 4.
https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/pk%203%20supplements/AMM%20-%20Amman.pdf
Few points I need clarification on if someone could help, would really appreciate it.
#1 "Two new photographs matching the U.S. immigration specifications"
Two new photographs of the US Citizen or the Fiance ?
#2 "Visa Fee for K visa application fees should be paid at the nearest branch of Cairo- Amman throughout Jordan in advance of the interview."
Isn't that supposed to be paid by the US Citizen when he files the I-129F in the USA ?
#3 "Previous Marriage and/or Divorce Certificates: If you or the petitioner were previously married, you must provide evidence of termination of all previous marriages and marriage certificates."
Me (US Citizen) has been divorced so do I send my Fiance my Original Divorce Decree ? Send Marriage Certificate as well ?
Thank You.

When I filed for mine I only had to do DS160 , I think the other one is for the spousal visa
When do you have to file DS-160 online ?
Thanks

Hi,
I looked at http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples and it states DS-160 and DS-230 but on another page http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide#proof doesn't mention either.
I am confused. Do I need to complete both and if so then at what point in time of the K-1 Visa process.
Thank You.

Follow the guides here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
Thanks a lot. That's a BIG help !
hi
the i134 is needed at the interview stage, so no with the initial paperwork
Thanks !

My bad, the co-sponsor also fills out their own I-134 form.
So do we submit I-134 with all the initial paperwork ? Also, do we submit the Tax Returns with it too ?
Thanks

So can I provide my last years Tax Returns and then also have a co-sponsor with his 3 yr Tax returns just in case they want 3 yrs and I only have 1 yr. My co-sponsor doesn't want to take the burden unless I can't take the burden.

Hi, just wanted to ask if a W2 from my petitioner would suffice his Affidavit of Support since he can't have his income tax return until April?
Firstly, what does minimum income requirement for the Affidavit of Support mean ? Is it before or after taxes ?
IMO, W2 should be enough but if the person has a 1099 then it might be different since he has to take out expenses and such from his Income.
What do you people think ?

Do we provide the I-134 form (Affidavit of Support) with all supporting documentation at the time of the K1 Visa application ?
Also, can I be the sponsor plus also get a co-sponsor since I was out of a job for 3 years until Jan 2015 so only have last years tax returns which shows any income really and it is possible they might ask for my last 3 years tax returns.
Thanks.

Yes, the I-134A is used for the co-sponsor.
Thanks for the reply.
I can't find the I-134A form anywhere. Just the I-134.

Read here to compare the K1 vs CR1/IR1 process:
Generally K1 is faster, when it comes time for the I134, 1 year of returns should suffice, but it would be smart to send your fiance with a cosponsor just in case, better to have one and not need it then need it and delay your case while you prepare more paperwork
Thanks for both your fast replies :
So if I also decide to use a Co-Sponsor, is there a separate form for that ? On the I-134 I don't see anything related to a Co-Sponsor.
Thanks again.

Hi,
I'm a US citizen based in Dallas, Texas and want to marry a Jordanian citizen. We can apply for the Fiance visa or get married in Jordan and apply for the Family Visa.
I have two questions:
#1 Which has a faster processing time ? K1 or the Family Visa ?
#2 The K1 Form asks for 1 year of Tax returns and I didn't work from 2011-2014 but did have enough savings to survive. Then started working as Self-Employed in Jan 2015 so have Tax returns for the previous year and it is above the minimum required income. Also, have liquid and house as assets. Is it possible they will ask for last 3 years of Tax Returns ? Then, should I instead of myself, ask someone else to be the sponsor who has 3-years of Tax returns ?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Can I submit my I-129F in person to the address listed as it is very close to where I live ?
Thanks.
