Thank you for the reply. So the AP is still valid even if the green card has been issued?

My wife and I are currently outside the US. MY wife is on advance parole, and it looks like our green card was shipped on November 2nd to our US address per USCIS website. Will she have any problems entering the US without the physical green card in hand? Please advise, thank you.

so have you already gone through the K1 visa process and now onto the AOS?
If you are doing the K1 you do not need the I-864 you need the I-134.
Either way you need to submit your most recent tax return. If you are not able to file the 2016 yet then your 2015 is classed as your most recent
It is for our AOS, so I need I-864, correct?
thanks

Your fiancee should be able to handle it, sometimes the embassy requires DNA tests. Need to contact the embassy in Japan to start the process.
Thank you sir

No. CRBA is done at the Embassy (the C in CRBA). Get it started now because the embassy will not issue the visa until this is completed, you don't need additional delays later.
Thank you for the info! I've recently accepted a new position in New York. Will I need to go to the embassy in Japan or can my fiancé living in Japan do it?

Yes, I am a US citizen and I have filed the report of birth at the city hall in japan. Were you a USC at the time of the children's birth? If YES then you need to complete the CRBA (Consulate Report of Birth Abroad) process for each as they can not get a visa being they are USC, they will have U.S. passports.
