I had my interview on the 9th August 2016 at the US consulate Islamabad, the usual routine and was given 221g form with denied mentioned on it.
i have created this topic to get to know the usual wait time for AP in 2016, as previously the AP average time was almost 6 months to an year,
whereas in 2016 its average time is 3 to 6 weeks.

InshahAllah, mine was 9th August, same white slip with 221G encircled Administrative Processing. Don't worry about the your case has been denied thing aswell as it's normal. Our cases AllhumdulilAllah are approved from the state department. Now the only thing us embassy make us wait. Good luck.
