Hi there
Quick question,
My husband has been working for the same company for almost 20 years but in recent months has been off due to a back injury, and we are now filing for AOS, so my question is regarding his pay stubs,
He will be returning to work in about a month, but can. Supply paystubs from his most recent work week, and explain he will be returning to work soon, or what do we do? My husband is my only sponsor, and he earns well above the poverty line. Works for a big national company etc.

Hi there,
I have been reading so much on filing concurrently, and I am confused on this part
Do I file my husbands i-864 with my 485, or can it be filed when requested? Will filing it after delay the process?
Please help

Hi there,
Quick question,
We are about to start the i130 & AOS filing, and we realized that my husbands passport is definitely expired and possible Bly misplaced. What other documents can he use to file I-130
Thanks

Your husband is a US citizen, right? I-130 and I-485 should be filed together, optionally also I-765 for EAD and I-131 for AP. Each form needs lots of supporting materials. Our guide is here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2
Yes he is a citizen, born here.
Can I apply for advanced parole? I didn't think it was possible given the fact I am out of status, from over staying my tourist visa

Hi there,
Just a little back ground,
I arrived to America from Ireland on a vwp, loved it so much I didn't want to leave, meet my hubby to be, and we are getting married next month, I have been here 4 years so I am out of status, and I also had a j1 visa back around 10years ago
I am planning on saving us some money and doing the filing myself.
So I have some questions,
1. With my I-130, what other forms can I file with them?
2 . Do I do my medical a week before the interview.... Or do I send with my 485? I've seen both opinions! Just wondering which is correct.
3 regarding my previous old j1 visa, do I neeD together any paperwork from that visa for the process?
Please help x

Hi everyone!
I'm new to all of this so please bare with me while I get a grasp one things,
Here is my background.
Came to America, in 2004 on j1 visa, left within the time frame, didn't over stay.
Returned to America in 2011, came for some xmas shopping and never went home, I just love it so much here in New York. Came on esta visa
I met an amazing guy, feel in love and we are getting married soon.
I would like to do the paperwork myself.
I know we need To file an i130
After that I'm lost, I've read so many threads but I'm lost on terminology and so on
I know I need to adjust my status.
My questions are
1. What documents should I start to gather for my own application
2. What documents does my hubbie need to gather, i.e. Tax returns etc.
3. Can I apply for advanced parole, if so when?
Thank you all so much
