I would suggest to have a corrected form filled out and ready to send to them in the event of an RFE. I looked at the RFE's available here and another site and don't see any for that. I read some posts of people putting the wrong names and nothing being said. Best thing to do is be prepared and wait.

A reminder to anyone trying to check case updates on USCIS tonight: their site is undergoing maintenance all evening through tomorrow at 6pmET I believe. So don't panic if your app says your case number cannot be found.
Hopefully said maintenance is updating NOA2's for the rest of us Nov files. Ha! Wishful thinking. ;-)

Decided to run my app again to get updated numbers for November:
Nov 2 : 62% Approved, 26% Received, 4% outstanding RFE, 9% Evidence Received Nov 6 : 46% Approved, 7% Received, 42% outstanding RFE Nov 12: 58% Approved, 18% Received, 26% outstanding RFE Nov 17: 51% Approved, 48% Received, 1% outstanding RFE Nov 25: 38% Approved, 62% Received, 0% outstanding RFE "Received" basically means that there was no status update (untouched?)

Funny you should say that! My fiance and I were just talking last night about how funny it would be if we got word (NOA2 or RFE at least...) on Jan. 13. See, 13 is our lucky number. Our anniversary is on the 13, everything good happens to us in 13s. So hopefully your crystal ball is right!!!

I consulted with three different attorneys due to my fears of putting the petition together. Hiring an attorney just made sense. But it seemed that with the attorney, I was still doing most of the work. Thanks to this wonderful group and all of the information here... I decided to take the plunge and did it myself.

Sort of winging it from this point.
Once I have NVC number I'll submit the 160 Track the DHL package to Ethiopia Give Embassy 2 days after package arrives before I call them to ask questions about when to schedule interview Schedule interview online Schedule air trip Have Aisha go to medical/police Arrive 2 days in advance of interview to prep Interview --- Pay for visa (Im still not sure if I pay Visa at Embassy, or online) I think this is what I am doing.
