Hi everyone,
I was trying to catch back up on everything - it sounds like there may be a few other people in a similar situation...
The USCIS center in California made a mistake with some sort of stamp when they approved our case back in January. After 1 month wasted going back and forth to the NVC we received our 2nd NOA2 on Feb. 9th. The NVC received our case again on the 19th of February and for the past 3+ weeks they've told me we are undergoing 'Administrative Processing' every time I call.
Very very frustrating, but we're trying to be patient. Hopefully they'll finish everything this week and send our case along to Warsaw so my fiancée can schedule her interview..

Mine is blank as well. But it was only approved about 5 business days ago so I am still waiting to see if the nvc to recieve my case from the USCIS.
Blank appears to be normal (didn't mean to scare you) - I'd say someone made an unfortunate clerical error with ours.
As a comparison we received our NVC number about 2 weeks from the NOA2 date. Good luck!

What exactly do the priority dates mean?
It's a field on the NOA2 - ours was blank on the hardcopy the sent. But a woman at the USCIS told me this date should have been 11/25 (the date they received our case).

It's been a long time since I posted but I wanted to send an update in case this happened with anyone else...
Our case was approve on Jan 11 and on the 27th we received our NVC number when I called to check the status. Today I called again only to have the NVC tell me they SENT IT BACK to USCIS because the Priority Date was later than the Approval Date.
I spoke with 3 different people in the NVC and they all said they didn't understand why it would be sent back for this. And when I called the USCIS they told me that all of our dates looked correct. Finally I spoke with a supervisor who told me the case appeared to have arrived back at the California Center this morning and he was requesting a Service Request to update me on the status of this.
This is all extremely disheartening and frustrating. I wouldn't wish this on anyone else. An update like this when we were preparing to schedule medical and interieiw appointments is not easy. It's my hope that there was some sort of clerical mistake and this gets corrected soon.
Hopefully very soon.

I wish I could have posted sooner..
After reading through the forum last night and hearing so many excited and positive people I had a 'feeling' to check our case status (for the 10th time that day) and I almost didn't believe my eyes - CASE APPROVED. It must have went through very late in the evening ~7pm EST.
Also, I was surprised that even after 24 hours I didn't receive a text alert or email update. I know those options are nice, but there's nothing more reliable than going straight to the source and checking the website. Good luck everyone - it seems like they're working hard this week!!

I would suggest to have a corrected form filled out and ready to send to them in the event of an RFE. I looked at the RFE's available here and another site and don't see any for that. I read some posts of people putting the wrong names and nothing being said. Best thing to do is be prepared and wait.
Hopefully you will have good news this week
Thank you and appreciate the advice...I'll have it printed and ready tomorrow.
One letter I hope I won't have to send!!

I just spent the last 20 minutes reading this forum and all of the posts that have been made since the last time I checked (just 12 hours ago) - amazing! There's so much encouragement and good advice to go around
Having so many people share these feelings really helps a lot.
Many have already said this...but here's to a great week and many MANY NOA2s and other important milestones!
PS. My fiancee is very worried we will receive a RFE because we made a mistake and included family name instead of our mother's maiden names on our forms (both petitioner and beneficiary)... Thanks to this forum, I have assured her that RFE can be a positive thing. But I'm curious, does anyone have experience with a problem like using family name instead of maiden name for the parents section being the cause for an RFE?

I have never read anyone say positive points for their lawyer. Perhaps you have a good one. But now you are knowledgeable and can verify what they are doing. And can ask good questions, so they understand you know what is going on. Keeps them honest.
Unfortunately I'd say ours is similar to the rest - the majority of our 130+ pages were prepared on our end...
But you make a great point - keeping them honest!

I consulted with three different attorneys due to my fears of putting the petition together. Hiring an attorney just made sense. But it seemed that with the attorney, I was still doing most of the work. Thanks to this wonderful group and all of the information here... I decided to take the plunge and did it myself.
Don't have any regrets and look ahead.
Will you have access to the text message or email alerts?
It sounds like we had very similar experiences.. And yes, luckily my fiancee read about these text alerts on another forum she visited a lot in September and we included this page in with our packet.
I like the advice - no regrets!

Thank you! I've seen a lot of the posts here and they're great. Going back in time we probably didn't need to go through an attorney (I was swayed by my sister who recommended a colleague)...but I can see now this forum and the entire VJ site has everything you'd need .
Oh well, can't change it now! Trying to be optimistic

Joining this group a little late. Seems like a lot of applications around our time are already passed the NOA2 hurdle - fingers crossed for speedy approval for everyone (like myself) still patiently waiting!
I appreciate all the information and encouragement I've gained from reading VJ forums. It's been great!

Another call today to the NVC and still the same answer: "Administrative Processing". Our first NOA2 was on January 11th and after a date was incorrectly entered into the system and our case went back to USCIS... we received our 2nd NOA2 on February 9th. Our case returned to the NVC on 2/26 and was 'stuck' (supervisor admitted this to me) until 3/23. After speaking to countless supervisors and even reaching out to an Ohio Senator's case worker...still nothing. It appears my calling will continue..
