Hi there!
I saw that you managed to get your visa and passport back from the Nairobi embassy last September only one day after your interview! Do you have any sense of whether that is common or not? My husband's interview is Feb 26 and we were hoping to be able to travel Feb 28 at midnight - cutting it super close but keeping fingers crossed that it may all work out....

Congrats on making it this far!
Our case was a bit unique as it was a medical expedite. What we did was my husband asked if he could have the passport back ASAP but they told him no. They gave him a small paper and told him he had to wait just like everyone else. However, we checked the website every few hours and saw that the visa was issued by early morning the next day, so we went to check the DHL location, amd sure enough, it was there.
You won't be picking it up from the embassy but from the DHL location you registered at.
Just tell hubby to ask if it is possible to get it soon because of the flight. I think They technically have to say no, but will try their best to honor your request.
