  1. Congratulations to the Noa2's. I hope all of us is going to get ours soon :D

Our case is stuck right now in expeditionland. We got a messege telling us that we need to send them more information if they where going to expedite our case. So right now we are waiting for those papers *sighs* A part of me is thinking that maybe we could have had our Noa2 if we hadn't ask for them to expedite our case.

  2. Not hard in your case, as long as your sponsor has submitted the deployment orders (not just RFO). And USCIS has a separate military hotline you guys can use to check the case status.

That is good. I don't know all the papers that got sent in when we applyed bc we where using attorneys. But hopefully they will have all the papers that they need :D

I agree. It's a perfectly valid reason and I'm sure the officer reviewing your case will appreciate your fiance's service, as we all do. :)

Thank you so much mumbles. Yes it's a good thing that my fiancée is doing. But it will be hard to be away from each other when we have struggled so hard to be together. But soon we can be together forever :D

I just noticed an error in the NOA1 (I know, I'm the smartest person ever for just now noticing it :ranting: ) so I actually do have to call USCIS...

Ooh!! What does that mean? Error?

  3. Thanks, I know all about the wait time and how long some people have to wait. I know VJ's estimates are estimates. I've been very patient. I haven't considered calling my congressperson because I'm patient, and it hasn't been nearly long enough... Why did you have to petition twice? Were you rejected the first time?

Oh well then there you go. Looks like they're on it and will accept or reject the request soon enough. Hopefully it gets going quickly! Sorry I don't have anymore answers :/

Thank you so much :D and I bet you will get good new very soon

  4. That's interesting. I imagine they would only expedite a case if there's a really good reason, like if waiting would cause some sort of major issue. When in doubt, google! I got this: "According to the USCIS, cases may be expedited if they involve a serious financial loss, an

extreme emergency, a humanitarian situation, the request comes from a nonprofit organization advancing the cultural or social interests of the United States, it's a matter of national interest or security (the request must be made by a U.S. government official), or a USCIS error or compelling USCIS interest." Is there any chance your fiance or someone you know filed a request to expedite? Maybe call USCIS and make sure there isn't some sort of confusion.

We did file a request to expedite bc my fiancée is deploying in early June so we need to have the visa before that

  5. I have a list of the vaccinations needed by the embassy, and I have my records from the UK. But I'll be going to their office tomorrow and will talk to them to see if I need some of them, or all of them.

The Swedish police record is the only document I don't have yet, but I have my UK one. Although i'm fairly sure I read that documents can be in either Swedish or English, but I'm not 100% sure of that yet.

Ok. I will call the police office tomorrow and ask for my record and ask them if they know.

Would you mind sending me a copy of that list. I would be very grateful.

  6. Yeah I'm back in Sweden now, I was over in the USA for Christmas and New Year and we put together our visa application together while I was there. I've spent the last few weeks getting all the documents that I need for the interview and I'm fortunate that one of the approved medical offices for the visa is here in Gothenburg, so I'll be going there in the next week or two to get all of my vaccinations done before my medical exam.

I do speak passable Swedish at work, but as I'm sure that you know how great you Swedes are at speaking English! Much better than my Swedish is haha.

Haha..I bet your swedish is very good too :)

Ooh that is awesome. Do you know everything we need for the medical exam? Have you contacted the police office for that part? Do you know if we need that in English or if they are ok with it in swedish?

  7. A lot of people are, but it's good to look at other peoples timelines. A lot of people I have seen have waited 49, 50 days until their NOA2. I'm on day 35. Originally it said to expect something around next week (day 42) but I am honestly expecting something in the first week of march realistically.

That is true and I have been looking at others from Sweden and it says that it will take about 45 days. And in my case that is by the end of this week. So I'm hoping and praying.

  8. The ones that are entered in on this website if you go to Immigration Timelines at the top and then click on Ignor's list. Then if you set it to K-1 California service center, detailed and approved petitions only. I scroll to the bottom of the list. 5 January petitions are in there. As for the APP it's the USCIS case status app which I downloaded from google play. I just randomly type in numbers and look for I-129f petitions.

Thank you so much. And thank you for keeping us updated :D

Right now I'm stressing over the NOA2. That's all I ever think about.
