My wife arrived in Sanford, FL though Miami on a K-1 visa. I got her social security card in her maiden name and then changed the name on this after we were married. I was thinking this would help in getting her ID and using her married name on bank accounts. The bank account requires a photo ID with her new name if I want to use it on the account and the drivers licenses requires the EAD if I want it to last longer than 90 days.
Since she has a social security card with her married name and everything else in her maiden name will this be a problem when applying for AOS? Do I just use her maiden name on all the forms?

I think I originally put this in the wrong place. Sorry for posting twice.
Hello everyone,
I started a new job on February 15 of this year. In return for a higher salary I agreed to work 3 months with no pay. This was from February 15th to April 21st and for 3 weeks in August and September. Will this be a problem for the embassy in Bogota Colombia when they see this? Is it also a problem that I only have been working at this job since February 2006? I have been constantly employed since 2001. Thank you for your help.

Paying more if you file late
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
My wife and I have been going through some difficult times financially and we will need to file late in order to save money to pay for the process. We were told by some friends of ours that if you do this the fee increases dramatically. They said it would double. Is this true? She already has the 2 year green card. We would be removing the conditions.
