Anyone here from Germany?
The Fiancee has paid before the interview on cgifederal site. Now the website is telling her that she needs to wait for an email to be able to schedule and appointment. She has received said email, including a link to ustraveldocs. But when she goes to login, it goes back to cgifederal site and nothing on her dashboard states that she's paid.

Did anyone notice the i134 form on the UCIS website is expired?
Google search for i134 - https://www.google.com/?ion=1&espv=2#q=i134
3rd link from the search above directing to UCIS site - https://www.uscis.gov/i-134
What did y'all use?

A little over a year ago I moved to an apartment complex. I didn't know how long I would stay here so I decided, for mailing security purposes, to keep my addresses the same. Only the "need to know" like power and internet actually go to the new address.
The problem I'm having now is that all the addresses on my financial responsibility or other supporting documents show my old address.
Should I be concerned?
According to one (non-immigration) lawyer, the State of TX rules that whatever is on your DL is your primary address. Take students, for example, they don't change their address just because they are attending college elsewhere. And that rule could apply to me as I don't own the apartment and am thinking about moving to another one in half a year or so.
Thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated.

You're correct. Mybad. 134.
Reading the instructions, it generally says statement from bank officer of accounts. Since the only thing they ask for on the paperwork is savings, should I only submit the history on the savings? I don't know if it's appropriate to show my checking account.

Actually, I live in Texas too and my insurance company GEICO says that my fiance can drive my car as long as he is a listed driver on my policy with his international driver's license. Once state license is obtain just call them back to update our policy with the new info. I will be adding my fiancé this weekend.
So basically it's at the Insurance discretion. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask.
One would think this should be under law and not per insurance. But you're right; I guess the easier way is to call your insurance company to find out how they do things.
Shouldn't we wait for Packet 3? I saw somebody were saying that beneficiary will need to send back the confirmation of DS-160, copy of passport bio. page, passport photos and maybe a checklist of all the documents he/she needs to bring to the interview. I don't know how Consulate will contact the beneficiary if they receive the documents and okay to schedule an interview.
This is the same question I'm asking.
Once my Fiancee finishes with the DS160, does she submit that and wait for further information?
Should I already mail her my i135 and supporting docs?

Any petitioners who are currently filling out I-134 or have already done that, please let me know if you got statement from your bank or not? I am attaching letter from my company, six most recent pay stubs, 2015 tax return transcript, W2's from 2015. any help will be much appreciated.
Damn. Gotta dig the Tax return and W2's
can my fiance drive in michigan with an international drivers license?
I'm sure she can. The better question is can your fiance be insured without a local driver's license.
Here in Texas, the answer is no. Insurance companies need a TX DL before they can be added to the insurance policy.

i did not get any thing from NVC expect case number and invoice ID. no letter, mail or email . nothing.
when it shows 'in transit" it means your application is sent and on its way to your embassy....when it sows " ready" it means it is at your embassy .. then see your country forum to get the next step.
Neither my fiancee nor I didn't get an invoiceID. How did you get it? I had to call the NVC for it.
-
We did it all in one weekend.
Here are the steps.
1.) Pay your fee at BPI
2.) schedule your interview online
3.) complete your DS160
4.) preregister for medical at St. Lukes.
We have not received packet 3 and my understanding is you don't need to wait for it either. you can do everything yourself at this point in the order stated above.
Did you already have the i-134 (Affidavit of Support) before hand?
I was waiting to send this to my Fiancee. I guess now's a good time to send it to her? But it seems she can't submit the DS160 until the i134 gets to her.
-
Question directly to you jusper:
How long did it take after you submitted your DS160 to schedule the interview?
Did you submit the packet3 and the DS160 at the same time?
Packet 3 should include the Immigrant / Fiancé(e) & K Visa Application Checklist from the Embassy correct?
-
^ I guess I need to learn to use the search function...
Another question on i134:
On #11, Since she's my fiancee, obviously I'll be taking care of her and she'll be living with me. Should I even answer this and list down that she'll be living with me forever?
-
On the i-134: what should I include in "mortgage(s) or other encumbrance(s)?
I live in an apartment and pay a car note and student loan. Should I put utilities and other bills?
Should I fill the i-134 and send it to her before or after she completes the DS160?

What kind information did you fiancee need to log in?
I only got NOA1 hard copy and that's it. No text nor email for my NOA2 although it's approved on Aug. 02 and they said has mailed. I am really worried that my fiance will miss anything or can't finish the visa application in time. So I guess I should call NVC everyday for a case number and tracking time.
Invoice ID Number

Did you ever receive the post activity email from USCIS? I never did and I have the same NOA2 date as you. I never even received a text message for my NOA2. My phone apps updated me and shortly after I received the notice in the mail. Today I just called and there is no sign of my case at the NVC.
I'm the same way.
I got 1 text stating that they received my packet and that was it - before NOA1.
I'm kinda pissed that they expect my fiancee to log in to do the DS160 when no one gave her one of the login information so I had to call them for that information.
-
So the fiancee got mail on Aug 13th from the NVC stating to log in and fill out a form.
I didn't get anything.
Also, I didn't get a number required to log in to the https://ceac.state.gov/ site.
I called the number someone listed above and got my numbers.
Do we both (petitioner and applicant) need to fill out the DS-160?
-
got the NOA2 in the mail - 4 days after the approved date online.
Will update my timeline tomorrow.
EDIT:
kinda disappointed that did not get a text.
Will check what email I used and check that mailbox tomorrow as well.
-
Why would you submit the packet without that very TINY bit of information?
Also, I know digital is faster than snail mail, but does anyone have an estimate on when we will receive the actual NOA2?
-
Just checked my status and:
On July 20, 2016, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number xxxxxxx. We will mail your approval notice.
I need to check my mailbox tomorrow in case the letter has come. I was hoping for a text, but nothing.
Woot.

Interesting that some of y'all are stating that you get some sort of e-notification for your NOA1. I got a notification stating that the package has been received in Dallas and to expect the NOA1 in 7-10 days.
I was actually expecting another email or text, but the NOA1 was sent via snail mail. There were 2 dates on the NOA1: received on the 13th and notice date on the 17th (of May). I don't check mail everyday but I saw it on the 22nd. Looks like the text to look out for mail was sent on 17th.
I need to update my timeline.
-
I just got a text and email. While I mailed it to Dallas, they did say they are sending it over to California. The email said to expect some form in 7-10 days.
This was a lot faster than I thought. Was expecting it after 5 business days.

Technically, I am a naturalized citizen LoL.
Also, she's German, I'm Filipino.
I think I messed up on the address... When I found out 2 day was just a few dollars, I used it... With the non express mail address. Oh well. I knew I was going to do something wrong LoL.
Typical USPS tracking is broken...
Im hoping for a not-too-long wait time. Monday will make two weeks she's been gone. Hoping shed be back before Christmas.
-
Didn't see this thread yet.
Sent my i129f to Dallas around 1pm today. Created a timeline too.
Looks like the average is 3 months wait right? The fiancée is set on being back here before Christmas.
BTW, I was the one who created a thread 4 or so months ago that got locked because of the way I asked the question. Hint: it was about AOS and getting married instead of a k1.
Kinda glad we went the k1 route.

Had to watch the trailer because the title sounds familiar... Turns out I've watched it, but forgot what it's about lol.

Yes it is. And I do the same.

Thanks. Still getting used to the terms and how the forum works.

Apparently, she was supposed to send the packet to the embassy before she can get an appointment date.
I think I knew that but wasnt sure so it didn't happen.
Oh well; she isnt planning to fly until November so we're not in much of a hurry.
