My case was initially with USCIS for full 4 months from them receiving the papers to sending them for an advisory opinion. DoS took 2 weeks to send favorable opinion once they got all of the documents.

I am new, hence if I am posting in the wrong section please forgive me and let me know.

I filed for I-612 Extreme hardship with USCIS and my case was sent to DoS for secondary opinion. The question I have is how will DoS view my funding. Initially, my program sponsor was ACTR/ACCELS, but the funding was from my home government, which is indicated on my DS 2019 form. I consulted a lawyer in the past who said that DoS will view that as US funding, even though no US funds were used. Any thoughts on this?
