What country is the interview. You have no flag no timeline and I would like to add you to the spreadsheet please. Thank you.
Congratulations by the way.
Thank you, I appreciate it! I'll have to update my timeline. My country is Ukraine.

Yes it does because there's nowhere to put scan date on the timeline so that's why its there. But we got an email saying december 28th was our scan date and my wife also called and confirmed that is was.
Your day 45 will be this Thursday. I would call first thing on Friday morning and have them transfer your case to supervisor review. Our case was sitting for 45 days untouched. Once in supervisor review it was wrapped up in five days.

Okay I don't know if its nepotism or not but Hallelujah I got Case Complete.
Best part was I saw the 3 NA's covered my mouth, my husband thought I bit my tongue. I showed him what I was seeing on my phone and he gave me a big hug and kiss and said "Baby we did it".
Scan date 1/4. Today is day 36.
My timeline is jacked and trying to get the admin Captain Ewok to fix it.
Congrats! Excited for you guys.

Congrats!!!!
I appreciate it! It feels surreal. It's been a long long wait...

Just saw three N/A’s, called NVC, the rep confirmed that our case was closed this morning. It has been in supervisor review since last Friday (Feb 5). The rep said interview appointment should arrive in 5 to 10 days. My total time from scan date (Dec 21) to CC (today) was 50 days, no checklist.

I'm so pissed right now. My husband mailed the documents on 28th Jan and I thought they'd received the documents and I called NVC today and they told me that they haven't received any documents yet
.. The status for delivery post office also says pending.. So our documents are misplaced I guess cuz it's been 10 days. So we're planning to send through Fed-ex express now.
Is it okay if they receive the documents twice cuz there could be a possibility that that they receive it after some time. Please let me know guys. So upset
I wouldn't stress over this yet. USPS delivered my paperwork to NVC on Dec 21. Until the first week of January NVC kept saying they had no information on my packet in their system. I thought they'd lost the entire packet. Then on Jan 9 (19 days later!) I got an email saying my scan date is Dec 21.

My fiends scan date is dec18 but no CC yet
Anyone with this scan date still waiting ?
Yes! Our scan date is December 21, today is day 46 since we submitted. Called NVC this morning and the rep assigned our case to supervisor review, saying they have 42 days to review it. I got an impression that had I not called nothing would have happened. So your friend may want to give them a call to get their case moving along.

Is it good to call at 30 days or wait till 45 day? any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
It does not hurt to call early, but I am not sure it does any good. They typically give you pre-canned answers : "due to high volume we are now looking at 30 to 45 day processing time.".

Cuz when the started back in 2012 there was no scan date yet at NVC. Case Complete to Interview was my thread and that's what the focus is. Scan dates is the NVC filers thread issue to track. It's enough to track this stuff with people not having timelines updated.
The scan date really is a moot point once you get to my thread. When Saylin started the NVC Filers thread she had all that information but it's no longer available. Another VJ member also started scan to case complete.
What is needed is for the scan date to be added to the VJ timeline by the admins. Talk to Captain Ewok about that.
Makes sense. Thank you!

Hi dwheels76! A quick question – why do you track time from CC to interview only? How about adding a column for scan date? That way you could have average scan to CC as well.
-
Scan date Dec 21. Still no CC. Today is day 44 since we submitted our paperwork...

This is so confusing, I mailed in my papers on Friday, and yesterday the usps tracking said it is delivered. But I called this morning and they say they haven't received it. Im just tired of this whole thing already!
It usually takes a few days to register in their system. However, exceptions do happen. In late December / early January NVC had some email issues. For me time gap between when they got my papers and an email confirming scan date was 19 days.

I am really regretting not doing EP but my attorney said it was best to mail it in. Ugh 72 days from original scan date and 24 from checklist scan date D;
May I ask what triggered your checklist?

What the #### is going on at NVC.
New scandate after calling them just now.
They scanned my packet, that's was sent as 1 packet as 2...
So now they "just" got the 2nd scandate in there system and now its the Dec 28th.
So now i can wait 14 days more....
Man i hate this ###### ####.
My situation is similar. NVC rep told me – we have two pieces of mail from you. One from Dec 21, the other from Dec 31. However, I have only one email from them stating my scan date was Dec 21. Depending on where the countdown actually began, review should be complete by Feb 3 or Feb 13.

My friends scan date is dec 17 but no cc yet
Any suggestion what he should do ?
His 45 day mark will be on Jan 30. I would recommend calling NVC on Monday (Feb 1). At this point they should transfer his case to supervisor review.

Another 21ster here. I called earlier today. The rep (Liz) was professional, but very non-committal. She said it could be CC any day now. If it’s not done by next Wed, it’ll go a supervisor review. I asked if SR means expedited processing, she answered “No, it just means a supervisor will be looking at it”.

I see several people on this forum with scan dates in late December (mine was Dec 21). I was wondering how long it took NVC to let you know your scan date. I got my notification on Jan 9, i.e. 19 days after the fact. Is this typical? When I called the rep said they’d been having problems with email. I am curios what everyone else’s experience was. Thank you.

I have a general question – what is the normal processing time between when a packet arrives at NVC and an email confirmation from NVC that they got the papers? We mailed our documents on Dec 18, USPS tracking shows they were delivered on Dec 21, yet we have not heard from NVC. I realize they get hundreds of pieces of mail a day, yet it should not take two weeks to open a packet and send an email. I’d appreciate everyone’s input. Thank you!

My pleasure! You just need to mention to the NVC rep that you are past 45 day mark and request supervisor review. They'll take care of it right there.
