HI I WENT THROUGH THE SAME SITUATION. USCIS ASKED FOR MY FIANCEE'S BIRTH CERT. AND DIVORCE DECREE IN ENGLISH. NOT JUST ANY ONE CAN TRANSALATED IT HAS TO BE SOME ONE SPECIALIZED. I TRIED GOING WITH A NOTARY AND SHE SAID SHE DOES NOT DO THAT ANYMORE BECAUSE USCIS KEPT ON RETURNING THEM FOR ANY WORD THAT WAS NOT CORRECTLY TRANSLATED. YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHO YOU CHOOSE. THE REASON IM TELLING YOU THIS IS BECAUSE THE MORE MISTAKES YOU MAKE THE LONGER THE PROCESS.

I HAVE THE TRANSLATERS NAME AND FAX NUMBER IF YOU NEED IT PM ME

  2. MY FIANCEE AND I WERE APPROVED FOR AN I129F PETITION. K-1 VISA. WE GO TO THE MEDICAL EXAM AND INTERVIEW EVERYTHING IS FINE UNTIL THE CO SAYS WE HAVE TO FILE AN I601 WAIVER, SHE SAID TO FILE IT AND DO THE FINGERPRINTS AND HARDSHIP LETTER AND ANOTHER G325 FOR MY FIANCEE. THE CO TOLD US THE PROCESS WOULD TAKE 3-6 MONTHS, WHEN I CALLED AND EMAILED CDJ THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD TAKE 8-10 MONTHS. (FILED 8-2-06) NOW MY QUESTION IS, WHO DO I BELIEVE, HOW DO I KNOW IF ITS PROCESSING? ALL I KNOW THATS ITS IN THECDJ SYSTEM, BUT HOW DO I KNOW WHEN DHS HAS IT?

ANYONE THATS BEEN THERE, CAN YOU HELP ME?

Not sure if you saw my response to your other post in the Mexico forum:

CDJ doesn't communicate about waiver processing until the waiver has been approved and a second pick up appointment has been scheduled. Generally on immigrate2us.net right now waivers are averaging about 6 months but there have been shorter wait times. Jacob328 filed in January and got approved in August.

There is an email for CDJ to try to request waiver status as well as a DOS number in Washington where you can try to get information. Check immigrate2us.net for that information.

THANK YOU KITKAT1 ILL TRY EMAILING THEM TO ASK AGAIN I HOPE I DONT GET THE SAME ANSWER

  5. Yeah, I was definitely mad when my fiance told me he had fessed up to that. But... I was the one who had prepared all the visa stuff and I sort of just filled him in on the details. I guess I forget to have the talk about "remember back when marijuana was your favorite college pastime? Let's pretend that never happened."

He told me that during the medical exam he had to take of all his clothes, and then the doctor left the room. He was left there facing signs that read "lying to this doctor is a federal crime" and things like that. So I guess he got intimidated/scared, and when the doctor came back and started asking him all kinds of questions he just said everything.

The worst part about this whole thing is that the next day, not only did they deny his visa, they took away his tourist visa!! He can't even enter the country! Anyway, I was accepeted to grad school here, so it looks like we'll be apart for the next two years. Ni modo...

  6. Am a USC. Today I got the message below regarding delivery of my package. Has anyone got a similar message? Maybe they did not realize that it was coming from a USC otherwise they would have rushed to receive it and apologized for the delay by calling me.

    Anyone undergone such an experience?

  7. Hi,All

Have gotten myself into a bit of a mess. My EX Fiance was approved for her Fiance visa back in April.Came here July 5th. Anyway,it turned out BAD X INFINITY. Turns out she used me to get here, and,in the process, was talking to another guy here in the US. Anyway,I threw her out when I found out. Now,she's in Dallas with this other guy, and, says she is going to sue me,because,of course,I signed the Affadavit of Support. Anybody know who I should call,or what course of action I should take? Any and AL advice will be GREATLY appreciated.

antonio go directly to the ins office and tell them show them your paper work and tell them what is going on. give them her address and her description. dont worry. she wont get away with it, they kick her like the dog she is. imagine while she enters free and clear my fiancee is still waiting. que desmarde , no?

  8. I'm going crazy, its been 99 days since CSC recieved our petition :crying: . I know that's not as long as some people here have waited & they told us it'd be between 90 - 120 days but I feel like I'm losing it & need to know what the hell is going on. Do you think it would do any harm to email them? I don't want to pee them off & have them tell me to wait 60 days till I contact them again, like they have done with other people here. I'm flying to USA in 5 days for 3 months & I was really hoping the approval would've come by then.

    What should I do?
