Thank you. The interview was easier than I excepted. Just 4 questions: it's ur fiancé you going to meet right? how did you meet? When was the last time he visited? Since when has he been living in the US? And that was it. The lady smiled and told mex I'll approve your visa and gave me detials about picking up my passport

A quick question, NVC case status of our case is now 'Ready', does it mean the consulate has already received the case packet? I am asking this because I have never been able to find DHL tracking info.

yay! medical done, interview scheduled for April 14, 2016 (next thursday)

as for how long it takes, its better u ask people processing in the same country as you, cos different countries with their different procedures. as for me, the day my case changed to ready, I emailed the US embassy asking what's next and I got my packet 3 via email that same day (this is how my own country works, u should find out how yours works).

my app made it to the embassy already. received packet 3 this morning.

our file made it to the embassy today and now the case shows "ready" on the CEAC website. faster than expected.

yay! case in transit. A quick question, when I checked the CEAC website for update, it showed IN TRANSIT and then underneath it says "Your case is in transit to the Consular Section Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center" is that interview date being provided by NVC what it just automatically says whenever once's app is in transit? coz I know I'm meant to schedule my interview myself and not NVC??? thanks

Congratulations!! Our NOA2 was March 4th, called NVC this morning, was told they haven't received it yet. It looks like the processing time may have something to do with beneficiary's nationality.

Hello. Happy weekend. what have you all be upto?? here is an update of what we have been upto- we received the hardcopy of our approval notice via mail on Thursday. In the meantime, we already have the letter from bank, employer and tax return for 3 years (2013,2014 & 2015) together with w2 and return pay stub. we should start calling the NVC by next week to know if they have received our case. Is there anything we missing out here?

Still not heard anything. I know I just have to wait, but I am waiting not so patiently now at day 55. I know a lot of people get approved at day 50 and bellow so it's making me question if perhaps something is wrong with my petition.

I pray you receive ur approval notice soonest. I actually thought we were going to get approved around the same time. hopefully you will get the approval notice soonest.

We were approved!

Our NOA1 date (on the notice) was January 14th.

The app and the USCIS site both showed it was received on January 12th.
