  1. If you're using the USCIS app, you will get a notification when there's a change in your status. At least that's how I found out they had updated the error I called in for. I got an alert from the app, and USCIS sent me 8 duplicate emails about correcting the error later that day. I have texting turned on but I don't count on it since I have a Polish phone number.

    I didn't receive any text message from USCIS with my Philippines phone number, it was my fiancé's phone number they texted. Perhaps they only text US phone numbers.

  3. Hey everyone. We're happy to share with you the good news that arrived on leap day. We received a text notification from the USCIS at around 10:00PM saying our case has been updated. So we logged onto our account on the USCIS website and found the best news so far. "My Case was Approved" -Yay!! ^.^ NOA1 date was January 13, 2016.

    We're going to start preparing the paperworks for the next step. My fiancé is going to send the duplicate copy of our 1st packet to me soon. Just a few steps closer to our happy ever after.☺
