Just checked mine this morning and my status has been updated on the USCIS portal - it went from "Case Received" to "New Card Is Being Produced"!
Mailed 04/28/2018
Received at CSC 05/02/2018
Extension (18-month) 06/18/2018
Biometrics 03/13/2019
New Card Is Being Produced 05/16/2019
Can't wait to receive my new card - I HATE carrying around this paper when I cross the Canada-US border (especially since CBP doesn't even know what it means)! #thankful #grateful #newcard

I just received this today:
We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time
We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on February 27, 2019.
Same - they must be mass sending it out...

I just received an unsolicited email from USCIS "We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time....we will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on March 13, 2019."
Anyone else get this "update"? -

You're not alone!! Lol.
My USCIS hasn't updated since they received my case, so I'm just over here chilling, waiting on any mail that comes from USICS.
Same here - just waiting for the day I have good news in the mail...
-
My receipt number is 1819151*** and I also have heard nothing and my USCIS portal doesn't update...it just says case received....however, I received my biometrics letter and had my biometrics appointment on the 13th so obviously things are moving along somewhere in their system (just not showing on my end).

My Bio was done March 14, 2019 in Houston, but I have not see any case update about the Bio yet. is anyone of you guys in the same boat with me?
Yes - I did mine on the 13th but my online portal still just says "case was received" (even though I've been getting letters and so forth). Hoping it moves along soon!
-
Had biometrics/fingerprints done today in Detroit - took all of 15 minutes... hopefully this moves the process along and I can have my 10-year card soon....crossing the US-Canada border with this extra paperwork is burdensome (especially when the CBP agents don't know what it is)...

Received my biometrics letter too - 3/13 Detroit.

Hey all - thank you for your updates!
I checked online my case status using the receipt number from the I-797 NOA (18-month extension) and it says on their portal "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information." What does everyone else have?
Today I was crossing through the Windsor-Detroit border, with my expired GC and the extension letter and once again they gave me grief....honestly, I don't understand how they don't know what this letter is (the CBP agent said I should go get a sticker on my GC 🙄...the letter is sufficient).
I just want this whole process to move along and be over...
I-751 Received 05/02/2018 CSC
I-751 18-month extension 08/18/2018
No information on biometricsNo status on the USCIS portal

Received 18 month extension letter today.
They received our package on May 2, 2018 (CSC). -
So I was just crossing through the POE at between the Windsor, Canada and Detroit, USA border and I presented my unexpired green card with a photocopy of my I-797 (which I just received a couple days ago).
1) He asked me what the letter was - I replied it is a one-year extension of my green card. He then replied why do you have an extension for an unexpired green card. I then explained that for a conditional green card, the GC holder has to apply for to remove the conditions up to 90 days before it expires (in which I did) and hence I just received my extension.
2) He then went on to that it is illegal for me to be travelling with a photocopy of the I-797 (he also mentioned I could be fined) and that I should have the original. I was not aware of this and I actually don't think that is factual (from what I understand, you can travel with a copy). Does anyone actually know the answer to this??? I just told the US CBP officer that I would destroy it when I got home but I don't think this is correct that I can present with a photocopy and keep the original in a safe place (worse comes to worse, I go into secondary).
Now to vent....I am consistently baffled how untrained, unprofessional, and unknowledgeable about immigration laws our front-line officials are - this applies to both Canada and the USA. It is completely unacceptable and should be reprimanded and corrected. -
Received NOA1: 06/08/2018

Mailed on 4/30 to CSC.
Received on 5/2 (via USPS).
Still waiting on check to be cashed.
Thanks for posting your updates. -
I submitted my I-751 on April 30th, 2018 and it arrived at the post office in Laguna Niguel on May 2nd, 2018. Still waiting for them to cash the check and send the NOA. I am patiently waiting - some people it seems receive an NOA in a few days, others a few weeks...
Any other April / May filers waiting for their check to be cashed and their NOA to come in the mail? -

Scan Date: May 4
3 N/As: May 20
I haven't called to ask if our case is complete - we'll just wait for the mail!
Thanks for the help everyone - best of luck! -
if i'm not mistaking, AOS has to be submitted by mail. They need the original signed copy, not scanned (electronic)
It says on the NVC website that you should only use one method - so either all electronic or all mail - so I do think you are supposed to sign the original AOS form, scan it, and then send it. That is what we did and we sent in our package electronically, including the AOS form, on May 4th.
Which correspondence did you (Christinebee) receive from the NVC after sending in all your forms electronically?
-
Our checklist actually didn't ask for passport pictures perhaps because already sent them in during the I-130 process? So we didn't send additional ones - we strictly adhered to our checklist. Also all your attachments should be under 5MB.
-
Yes, our is MTL and we have the option of both email and mail. We are pretty techsavy so we decided to send it in via email.
We received an email back this morning to confirm.
Hopefully it makes the process quicker and they can't lose documents as well!
-
My case number begins with RDJ the NVC say I can email documents as per the picture I posted. Has anyone done this?
-
Just sent in our AOS and IV supporting documents! Now the next wait begins! Hopefully no additional checklists!!!!
Thankfully we are filing through the MTL consulate which allows the email documentation processing - super convenient (and hopefully no lost documents then)!

Hey folks I need some advice/help:
I am preparing our paperwork for the NVC and I seem to be questioning myself with regard to the documents to send, specifically my long form birth certificate. I assumed my spouses last name and this changed all my documentation (passport, drivers license, health card, social insurance number, taxes, etc.) except for my birth certificate. You have to do a legal name change to have your birth certificate changed, however in Canada and the USA you are able to assume your spouses last name versus doing a full legal name change. So my question is...am I fine keeping with the assumption of my spouses last name and submitting my birth certificate as is?
Best of luck to everyone at the NVC this month.
Thank you,
EAJA -
Just checked our case status online: On March 10th your case was approved!!!! 199 days from NOA1 to NOA2 (6.5 months!)
Woot! Woot!
See ya'll at the NVC!
