My interview is Thursday August 18 and my case was touched 3 Times already, is that a bad thing?
Woo! Good luck tomorrow!!

How long from case complete to interview for DR?
You can also check the link in my signature for times (it's based upon the same spreadsheet)
Hi guys!!! My husbands interview was today and thank God he was approved. ??? I'm so happy. After so many years of a long distance relationship it's finally coming to an end. To those awaiting the big moment, patience is key. Everything comes at its moment. I want to thank all those who have answered my questions from the start of it all. Thank you! I feel very blessed and I hope that all goes well for everyone else. You are all in my prayers! ☺️?
Yayyyy!! I was kinda wondering where you went =) I actually just got to Canada today to bring my wife back home - we drove up here last year and they denied her at the border, so we need to take our car back home too! I still don't quite believe it.

Visa approved! Going to go collapse into a amorphous heap on the floor now, since the only thing holding me up for the last few days was nervous tension and fried rice =P
I do want to say thank you to everyone on this forum, and of course especially those who are always ready to answer questions and help out =) As many have said before, I wish I'd found this place sooner! -
Sorry didn't understand your last sentence. Im hoping its nothing too.
I just meant that I don't think it will affect a decision on your visa - they are looking for very specific things. (Regarding your question "My question is will this be a problem for my medical in mumbai for the visa?" )

Tomorrow is the day. Our interview is at 12:15 pm.
I think I am going to die.
Does anyone know if we have to take proof of domicile to interview?
Same here! 10:30 am for my wife (her Mom is with her, I'm just here and the one not able to get to sleep =D) We included proof of domicile as it was listed in the interview checklist.
Yeaterday I found a lump on my right breast in my city. Doctor is thinking that is haematoma from some injury. Told me to perform biopsy ☹ im super scared.
My question is will this be a problem for my medical in mumbai for the visa?
Oh no! It is probably nothing, but hopefully it really IS nothing. I don't think that would affect the medical result for the visa, though. I'm not 100% sure, but just going off of what I understand that they look for.

Hi dwheels76,
Thank u very much for ur reply, last 3 months f3 have no movement, it is stuck, I think this month is also no movement I need only 3 weeks movement for my PD become current, when I called Nvc rep told me there is not visa number available,
What's meaning by visa number plz tell me thankz .
When you are eligible to receive a visa, a visa number will become available. At the moment, your priority date is not the current date that they are working on for that visa type. Hopefully that happens for you soon, I'm sure the waiting is very difficult!
-
Yes, it helps to know you aren't alone!!

SO NOA 2 is basically the date when they approve your case you know the message on my USCIS site (On June 22, 2016, we approved your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number LIN1690444XXX. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice) or when the approval notice is received on your given address?
It's the actual approval date (in this case June 22, 2016). The date that you receive the notice via mail isn't really all that relevant.

In the home stretch here, two weeks until the interview!

cokelili 11/25/2014 12/8/2015 1/12/2015What entry are you referring to about you think it's wrong?
I think the Interview Scheduled Date is supposed to be 12/8/2014 =)
-
Thank You
You're welcome! Once I added fixed the differing entries and added the median to it, it looks a lot more realistic (and better!)
7 of 8 entries have scheduled interviews
Avg days from CC to Interview scheduled: 63
Median days from CC to Interview scheduled: 13
Avg days from CC to Interview: 53
Most interviews scheduled 6 days before or after month end
The one with the scheduling way out there is definitely wrong, but I can't fix the spreadsheet, only dwheels can.
-
On an average how long does it take when you get CC to get your interview date ?
http://www.gryphonsoftwareconsulting.com/vj/index.html
Well, I found a bug thanks to this, but it says:
6 of 6 entries have scheduled interviews
Avg days from CC to Interview scheduled: 71
Avg days from CC to Interview: 53
Most interviews scheduled 5 days before or after month end
Although, it's only because 1 took over a year to be scheduled... although I'm wondering if that's a typo. I should also calculate a median # as well...
-
Also http://www.gryphonsoftwareconsulting.com/vj/index.html
(Which is just a filter for dwheels' spreadsheet) -
Called them this morning nothing happen yet still waiting for the interview day ...my case compete April 7....
It has you on the spreadsheet as CC 4/14 and Interview date scheduled on 5/26 for 7/26 ... I guess that needs to be fixed!
Although. ... you had posts that said you did get an interview... :-?
-
My point exactly.....by the way....great job on the spreadsheet
Thank you!
If you wan to get true numbers try omitting anything that's in column I (which are other visa types than IR1/CR1). Cuz there are alot of F2A category that are long waits that kind of throw off the numbers (I think). If Column I is blank that's a CR1/IR1
Good call - updated it to reflect that. Maybe I'll add a dropdown later in case people want to see non-IR1/CR1 as well.
thanks for this
You're quite welcome! After dwheels' suggested change it makes it a little better. Hopefully it's trending towards quicker (which gives me another idea for the page...)
90 of 103 entries have scheduled interviews
Avg days from CC to Interview scheduled:55
Avg days from CC to Interview: 93
Most interviews scheduled 4 days before or after month end
-
Please don't misunderstand...I talked about having copies in general as this would be the logical thing to do. The nvc sends the entire package to the embassy which consists of the original i864 and copies of everything else. At the interview, you'd just have to take all originals of the copies provided to NVC.
Exactly - just like they lost the W-2, they could lose a more difficult-to-replace paper =S
-
Great work, Gryphon! Thanks!
Sukie in NY
Thank you
I think I'm going to add a date cutoff there, so people can see more recent interview scheduling (instead of ALL scheduling) should they choose. If there are any other suggestions, please let me know!
BTW, it's ALL JavaScript, so anyone that wants to copy/paste the source code or review it (it's messy, sorry, I don't normally work with JS) - please feel free. Note that in order to work with Google Sheets API you will have to replace the clientId as that clientId will only work from the listed domain.

yes in 2011
but it will be very hard for my wife to travel to get her visa from her place
she will ask the CO if they can send it to the nearest purolator center in Saskatchewan ( which is not listed in the list of participating locations )
Yea it looks like the closest for my wife is in Toronto, 5 1/2 hours away (where she is right now because it's also the closest medical!) You can really tell that they care when they do things like this...
-
just sharing if there is anyone who have their interview scheduled in Canada
Due to the Canada post strike starting July 2nd , the US passport will be shipped through purolator
only 21 locations are participating and you get only 5 days to pickup your passports
no location in Saskatchewan
. The closest one is like 6 hour drive
list of participating location https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5DEisXQNl1XVklEelpkem1LWHc/view
Didn't they just strike a few years ago?

http://www.gryphonsoftwareconsulting.com/vj/index.html
Jamaica:
110 of 128 entries have scheduled interviews
Avg days from CC to Interview scheduled: 60
Avg days from CC to Interview: 99
Most interviews scheduled 4 days before or after month end
-
Just an FYI, I made a very basic "analyzer" of the CC to case complete spreadsheet here: http://www.gryphonsoftwareconsulting.com/vj/index.html
It basically just reads the spreadsheet and allows you to select your country and see the stats a little quicker without making filters. It'll show (at this moment) Avg days from CC to interview scheduled, avg days from cc to interview and when the average interview is scheduled compared to the month start/end.
Be warned. It's ugly. UI is not my forte =)

Sorry to hear that greyidgdess, but it does sound pretty standard for a MENA country. I don't think there was much you or he could've done to prevent some sort of fairly lengthy AP (besides being from a different country, or him being a different gender!) From what I've seen here on the forums it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that any male (especially a younger male) from a MENA country will experience this. Keep at it, and hopefully soon it will be over. Best of luck =)

The difference between the two is whether the couple have been married for 2 years or longer, not whether it's PR or citizen.
Correct. In fact, spouse of an LPR is not IR-1/CR-1 it is F2A visa.
-
No you will not get a checklist for filing i-864 instead of I-864EZ. If you have filled i-864 correctly you should be good to go.
Yup - I qualified to fill out an EZ, but (for whatever reason - maybe to justify their cost?) my lawyer submitted an I-864. No issue getting a CC.

It was definitely greater than 5 months on the site. I remember this because it had an actual date they were working on as opposed to "5 months" if it were on track. I can't recall the actual dates though.
