Hey friends. Question about transferring/not transferring money from the UK.

My fiance and I would love to keep most of his money in his UK bank account in hopes the pound will recover more from brexit.

Is this an OK thing to do? Does anyone know? I suppose it's more of an IRS question but I can't seem to find any straight forward answers.

Yes thank you I did look at her guide about whether it's filled out correctly and based on it not having any check marks I assume it's incorrect. Think I can call Knightsbridge for them to fix it?

Hey guys. London k1 here applying for AOS. I've heard Knightsbridge commonly incorrectly fills out the DS-3025. The "summary" section of ours is blank. Neither complete nor NOT complete for any listed reasons are checked. He was also not in season for the influenza shot at the time so there is no date on that part. Just "F" marked down. Will he need to see a civil surgeon in the USA?

My fiance is moving in December from London woohoo. I've changed jobs since his k1 visa interview. Do I need to inform USCIS or just put the new job on my forms for AOS?

Hey friends, K-1 PETITIONER here filling out I-864. Few things..

1. PART 2 "Other Information" numbers 5. and 6. is he supposed to have an A number? or USCIS ELIS Account number?

2. For PART 4 "SPONSOR'S Full Name", I'll put my NEW married name, yes?

3. PART 5 "Sponsor's Household Size" It's just going to be me in my house and him. So I put "1" for 1. and "1" for 2 (Yourself) which totals Household Size: "2" ....I feel really stupid but, is that right?

4. PART 6 "Sponsor's Employment and Income (continued)" 19.a:

It will be for Tax year 2015. I started full time with my company in May of 2015, so my Gross-Pre-Tax income WILL NOT show my full salary for latest tax year. Is this going to be an issue? I also recieved a raise last month. I have paystubs and the letter informing me of my raise this year. I've been told I'll need a co-sponsor even though I've been over highest poverty standard for over a year now. I think though, my pay for 2015 on my transcript shows 30k+. Can't remember now.

Yes we went through hell to get these records. His records, I just had him scan them to me, says from 2003 to 2010.

And then yeah 2028!! I was baffled! Must be wrong, surely??

I'm just worried about all the questioning that comes with AOS about "being a part of military" or whatever.

My Fiance served in the Royal Airforce.. .he was discharged from service in 2007, he requested his military records and it says he has "Reserve Liability until 2028"

Will this be an issue for us?? For interview (k1 interview in about 2 months probably) or AOS?

Hey all. Just trying to prepare for our 1st year of marraige.

Planning to marray January 2017.

He plans to keep his apartment in the UK and rent it out using a property manager.

Do any of you have advice on filing for the years to come.

I have been doing endless research and as we all know the US doesn't always make taxes straight forward.

I also have been unable to find a freaking tax advisor that knows anything if any of you have someone who has helped with a similar situation to mine??

Is there a list somewhere about ALL the immunizations he definitely needs for AOS. I have I copy of his medical records and he does as well.

I am in the US, I recieved my fiances NOA2 last week.

Feeling overloaded with information on what to do next, I forgot the email notification form so I'll have to call the NVC for a case number. But after that? I don't know what fees to pay, seems like I get 5 different answers on every site I go to.

What online forms to fill out?

Panicking our petition expires in September I don't want to wait around for mail it's stressing me out.

He wants to come see me one last time end of July for my birthday, but not if we're going to miss important mail with instructions on how to pay, which forms to fill out, how to schedule so on..don't have time to delay the process.

Can someone please help me with some bullet points on what I need to do before the interview? I've compiled all forms he needs from me, ready to mail to him.
