My fiance got the call to come pick up passport with visa. Visa in hand todayyyyy!!!!!!! Issued on March 31st and in hand April 2nd. So happpy

I got my visa issued!!! Yahooooooooooooo. Thank God for this amazing day. Im so excited happy nervous ahhhh im so everything. Our interview date was feb 8 and we were in ap ever since. First update was on march 18 and then march 21, 22, 25, 29 and now it was issued today on the 31st. Sooooooooooo thankful to Allah Pak. Good luck to all the brothers and sisters out their. Do not give up my friends. Thanks to everyone who helped me on this journey. You guys are amazing. InshAllah sab ko visa mil jae ga jaldi. Himat mat hariye ga

Hey Guys,

We had our interview on Feb 8th for a K1 Visa and were given a white 221g sheet with AP marked. On March 18th we got our first update. The status was again updated on the 21st and 22nd. Today our case status changed from administrative processing to ready on March 25th. We are so excited. Hopefully this is good news and the visa will be issued soon Good luck to all of us. Hang in their guys InshAllah sab acha hoga.

We have been in AP for 40 days so far. First update since then. InshAllah i pray that all of us get out of AP fast and get a visa. Good luck everyone! Patience/Sabr is the biggest virtue my friends. Let's all hang in there

Our case was updated on March 18th for the first time since the interview date of Feb 8th! Hope this is a good sign. Any luck guys with a visa issuance for your case?

I emailed the embassy a week ago. I said that the given 3 to 4 weeks were up on our case for AP and still no visa has been issued to my fiance. His interview was on feb. 8th. I got a reply back saying that wait an additional 3 to 4 weeks.

Hi guys,

So i was wondering how soon i could marry my fiance when he arrives in the USA. Like is there a minimum amount of time that we have to wait? We wanted to get married within a week after he arrived. Is that ok? I know we have a maximum of 90 days but we wanted to get married as soon as possible. I just wanted to make sure this won't be an issue when applying for his greencard right?

The 221g does not say anything. No documents are asked for or additional proof of the relationship. The only thing on there is a tick mark next to admistrative processing required. The CO did not say anything to my fiance except that your passport will be available for pick up at an american express near you in two to three weeks. Do you think this is a positive sign?

Hi Friends,

So my fiance was given a white 221g with administrative processing marked on it. His passport was also kept. I emailed the Islamabad embassy asking them why he wasnt issued a visa. I got a reply back from them today. This is the reply:Dear Sir/Madam, Our records indicate that this case is in its final review. Please feel free to check back with our office after four weeks. So guys should i consider this a good sign? They didnt write the usual its in AP so just wait for it response. Plz give any feedback you guys might have!

Yes hahahah thank goodness for technology! I wonder if all the cases in AP right now at islamabad embassy will go above the 60 day mark which is two months. Why do they do that? It says that the standard wait time is 30 to 60 days. Ughhhh so frustrating!!!!!!

Yeah they didn't even ask my fiance for any documents. Just handed him a 221g and said to lookout for the passport through american express. Good luck though!
