  1. Good day guys!

i know my question is still too early for me to ask but i just want to know some things regarding this topic.my questions are:

1.Do i still need to apply for my removal of conditional visa when the time comes or can i already apply or the naturalization since my husband is in the military?(im confused on this one cause according to the eligibility worksheet i cant apply unless ive already been staying in the US for 3-5 years but on this chart http://www.***removed***/citizenship/naturalization-eligibility.html#requirements ,it says that i can apply as long as im a permanent resident by the time of USCIS interview?)

2.When is the earliest time that i can apply for naturalization?

3.do i need to pay again once ill apply for my naturalization?

    thank you! :content:

  2. Can i file ds260 again after my petition was approved?cause ill be going to the US today and will arrive friday.my mother in law told me that what if the immigration officer found out that were not living with her but on our place(but like i said her place and the aparment where we want to stay at is on the same state) theyll deport me and all of them will get in trouble.i know that sounds sarcastic but she wont be at peace unless well be able give her an answer that its fine.

  3. Good day guys!

I just want to ask if it's fine that I won't live on the address that I declared in my petition for CR1.Were supposed to live with my in-law that's why I put their address as my US address but my husband decided to get our own apartment(my inlaw and the apartment were planning to stay at are on the same state just different cities).thank you.

  4. Yes I used to have a copy of my CENOMAR but like what you've said its a requirement when you get married here that's why the copies I had before were passed to the municipal office and church.

  5. Hello,i got an email from ustraveldocs regarding the documents that i need to bring on my interview and one of it is CENOMAR or certificate of no marriage but my problem is i cant already ask or request for that document from PSA since ive been married last year.is cenomar still that necessary?thank you

  6. During my interview we have tax returns from 2013 to 2015 and no W2.

They only took the one for 2015. The screening officer asked for W2 but we don't have it so he just said it's up to the CO's discretion if he will require us to submit one. Luckily the CO didnt mention nor ask for W2 and approved my visa. So based on experience I'd say you're good to go :D

-im having a hard time filling out DS260 cause it says there i need to put all my previous address since i turned 16.(ive got 11 address from the time im 16 up to now)every time i try to put all my previous address its either going to have a session timed out or if not i cant click the 'add another' button anymore.i tried to put the address where i stayed longer but still its giving me an error about a large gap of date.ive tried using chrome, firefox, and IE,clear everything cookies, history, etc but still nothing.i called the customer service and her answer wasnt helpful at all( she said to look at FAQ at ustraveldocs).thats why im thinking what if ill just click i dont have any other address other than my present address so i can already move on,just tell the interviewer regarding the addresses and make my appointment.do you think it will just be fine?

  7. Yay finally!

To answer your question, it's totally fine if you wanna schedule your medical end of May and interview a week after. :D

    Thank you Lhanz0729!

I just want to confirm about this thing regarding the income tax return.cause according to https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Supplemental/MNL%20-%20Manila.pdf ,they just need the I-864 form, and the latest 1040 form and w2(for 2015) instead of the last 3 years and we already got a copy of my husband's and joint sponsor's 1040 and w2 does it means that all the papers that we have are already good and we can schedule medical and interview asap? :rolleyes:post-224388-0-91038600-1461751928_thumb.jpg

  8. It's alright you're still preparing for your AOS anyways. :) Once you get your MNL case number it's going to be fast! So have all your documents ready for the interview to avoid further delays.

    UPDATE:

We just got our MNL case number today! :content:

i just want to ask if will it be fine to set my medical around the end of may and my interview around first week june?We already got a copy of my husband's 2015 tax return but just the 1040 and w2 and when it comes to my joint sponsor,he already sent us all the documents that we need from him. Were just waiting for my mother in law to get additional papers regarding his tax return for 2013-2015.

  9. 1040s and/ or transcripts from 2013- 2014 won't cut it, but it's still with the CO's discretion. You are most likely going to be asked for the 2015 tax return. If your interview date was before April 18,2016 the 2014 tax return/ transcript would still be good.

I believe it takes a few weeks to receive the ITIN. Have you considered filiing separately for now rather than jointly? It has to be a paper application though, but this way you won't have to apply for the ITIN.

Don't wait a week to call or email them about your case number. Try calling the visa immigrant unit because chances are your Case # is already there. :)

We just sent our papers(request of transcript 4506t for 2013-2015),income tax return form 1040(2015) married filing separately, and w7 application for my ITIN just to make sure)to my mother in law and from there she'll just be the one to send by mail (w7 and 2015 ITR)and fax(tax transcript request for2013-2015)the papers.

when you filed for the tax return by mail how long did you wait before you're able to get the transcript for it?cause we saw on irs website that if you file by mail it will take 6 weeks which is like almost 2months.

  10. You're welcome and again congrats on your approval.. :)

Yes that's correct, you'll need your AOS (I-864) completed to carry to your final interview.

Remember as I mentioned it can go very fast after you get your case #.

It could be just a matter of weeks if you have all your paperwork in order.

    We used figures from 2012, 2013, and a 2014 1040 last month, March 22nd.

I'm not sure what the cut-off date is for being able to use a 2014 1040, April 15?

    Good Luck!

    Ken

-do you think w2s and 1040s from 2013-2014 will be enough?i dont know anything about the cut off date too but on one of the forms it just say the covered dates and its always january 1 to december 31,2013-2014

  11. First off congratulations!

You're approved and they wouldn't tell you that if they needed more papers from you. :D

I've heard of people like yourself who received an approval email w/o a case # and that's when they would start calling a week or so later to try and get it.

Since we and the friends I mentioned before received a case # with the first approval email notice hopefully someone who received as you have will tell of their experience.

We also received an email the following day from DoS with both our case and conformation #'s.

Think positive.. compared to 30 to 90 days you're doing good.

thanks 7Ken!i think we'll just wait for a week if they're going to send us the # through email cause actually i still need to apply for my ITIN so we can finish my husband's 2015 tax return cause i saw on one of the threads here that if there's no tax return=no visa.we just got his w2s from 2013-2015 and 1040s from 2013-2014.and turbotax keeps on rejecting the application for 2015 tax return because i dont have SSN.

  12. When I got my approval the case number is already with it. It was placed in the subject line and body of the email. Try to double check the email that you received :)

cause here's the only letter attached to the email that they sent us saying this:

Please see attached notice for your information and guidance. The original copy will be mailed to your address. The Consular Section (Immigrant Visa Unit) will contact you regarding the visa processing.

  14. Good day guys!

I just want to ask how long until the USCIS get back to you after you filed for I-130.We filed for my I-130 at USCIS USembassy manila last April 5,2016.So weve decided to send an email and ask for an update and here's the email that we received as a reply.

-Thank you for contacting USCIS Manila. Your petition is currently under review. The adjudication process takes 30 to 90 days upon receipt. You will be notified in writing when completed. Upon approval it will be transferred to the Dept. of State for the corresponding visa process. Again, Immigrant Visa Unit will notify you as to the next procedural steps prior to visa interview.

Will it really take 30 to 90 days?!cause i saw in some thread that it only took them days or almost a week amd some few days.

  15. Hi @lhanz0729 i just want to ask if ots really necessary that my husband(the USC)to have more than one philippine id besides from his acr.cause we filed for my cr1 visa yesterday at the US embassy manila and the woman at window 25 is kinda rude and keeps on bitchin that hes just been staying here for more than 6 months and doesnt have any other ids issued by the phils.govt.we dont get other ids since we think its kinda pointless to have lots of ids if were not going to stay here longer.i tried confirm it by telling her isnt the one on the requirements is that the USC should be staying here at least 6mos but instead of answering yes,she answered and said things about the ids again.then she told us to pay on window15 and the lady there is nice to be fair.im worried about it now

  16. Hello

I got 3 questions that im hoping my fellow VJers here will answer please.i just dont know a friend or anybody who can help or answer my question.

    1.Since we'll have a joint sponsor,(my husband's cousin) is ITR 1040 required?cause we just asked for his W2s,employment letter.

2.does he still need to fill out the form i864a or if were only going to live with him?(which will be no cause well live at my husband's mom)

3.Is there no other proof that we can provide besides from the lease contract of the house?cause our landlord seems like she doesnt have a plan to give us one.is marriage contract not enough?

Im getting frustrated cause all the papers that we need to provide on our end are complete and the ones that we dont have are the ones that we dont have a choice but to seek help from other people like the lease contract.were thinking about getting a phone plan but i think its already late to get one since were planning to file for dcf this coming april(supposed to be tomorrow but because we cant rely on other people we have to move our schedule to wait for them)

Hope someone can give me a good answer thank you
