Fiancee passed her interview on 4/12, and was told to go pick up visa on 4/24. Should I buy plane ticket now or wait?

Case was approved in 1/24, received hard letter on 1/28.

No they did not but I have a guess...based in FBI name check. My fiance has a very common name and last name. As for me, I know quite well I have a clean background. 

I reached out to many government entities to assist me in my case, so probably that help.

Damn, I see there's a case filed on 1/27/16 and it's still pending background check...almost a year.

I filed my i129f on may 31st and still have not received nao2, 2 congressional inquiries...pending background check. 

I have a clean background and my fiancee is not from the middle east...don't know what's taking so long.

Now it's 192 days and I'm still waiting for NAO2...have my congressman intervene, same message, pending background check.

What is going on at USCIS?

Is it because I filed 2 months after my divorce was finalized?

Was it because of my occupation that I have to undergo yearly FBI checks?

Or my fiancee name is too common that it pulls on the FBI database?

When you contact ombudsman does he help? I'm 6 months into it, and still no NAO2. I believe I have a clear record due to that fact that my position requires annual security clearances in order to be employ.

Sucks to be you and me. I filed for many friends and the latest one was files in late August and already approved. His fiancee is to be here this Saturday...

I passed the five months mark too. Just submitted an online inquiry, and reach out to my state senator for help.

I know I have a fine background, so I just don't understand what's taking so long.

Can someone please advise why some I126F is taking longer than others to get an answer?

I received my NOA1 on June 2, and to date I have not received NAO2 or a RFE yet...I've called a couple time and was told they're still processing, there's nothing wrong with my application.

You know, I don't know why they would do an RFE. To be honest, I sent everything they asked for. I was divorced but I also got it certified by the court house and sent original. Both sides of my birth cert (even though the back was blank) about 10 photos all the airline tickets (5X) and bus tickets. I also sent recipes to restaurants and cinema. And all the other necessary paper work: bio, passport photos with names, intent to Merry, explain how we met (on vacation) all of it. So that's why I was racking my brain all day to figure it out. Unless they misplaced something I have no idea what it could be.

I have a cousin who got a RFE in June because his fiance G325A is not the current version. All we have to do is submit the current version and he got approved 14 days later. It's best to wait till you get the RFE.
