  1. Hello. I need your opinion. my husband is scheduled for his interview on the 19th but unfortunately his medical was put on hold because they said that he needs to due a sputum test for three days. They told me to re schedule his appointment 2-3 months from now until he is cleared from his medical. should we do that or should he still go to his interview in Manila Philippine US embassy.

    please let me know.

  2. Hello

Does anybody here know how far the backlog is in Manila Embassy?

F2A petition june 2018 has been DQ'd since June of 2020. Now I will soon be taking my oath as a new citizen in this country.

I am having doubts whether to call NVC then to update my status or not. Afraid that my husbands papers might be pushed back at the end of the line and would take more years before he can come

Just weighing my options whether to do it or not. Thank you for those who will reply

  3. Hello everyone. Pls help me. Im confuse of what step to take. I recently became a US Citizen like a week ago. Wanted to call NVC to update my status since my husbands papers has been DQ’d since june 2020 and is pending in NVC. As i was watching the update in Manila, the Dq’d papers that they were interviewing were as follows. For family base August 2019.. for IR’s its Dec2020. But my husbands papers was june 2020? So lagpas na! We’ll they be changing my husbands priory date and be at the back of the line? Like feb2022??? Or should i just wait for his f2a visa schedule?? Which will be a few months now?? What do u think???

  4. Good day everyone!

Received a letter fron NVC last June 2020 stating that they have already forward our papers to Manila Consulate to get a scheduled Interview but because of the signed Executive Orders it was delayed for almost a year since they are not giving out new visas or interviews.

Now that the Executive Order has been lifted, does anybody here know how far is the backlog in the Philippines to get an interview date? Are they giving out interview dates now for F2A filers or are they just doing the K1 visas and the expedites ones??

Please let me know if you hear any news

    Thank you.

  5. wala masyado questions sa akin. Sa 7 yrs old na anak ko lang. Hiningi lang nila lahat original copy nung mga papers na pinasa ko.

single status ko. May 2 kids din ako 7 and 2 yrs old.

Wala masyado questions unless may kahinahinala sa papers.

good luck talaga sa'yo. Balitaan mo ako ha😁

hi ms annloraine...we have the same problem  I am scheduled for my immigrant visa interview this coming thurs aug 17... bu then I recently received an email coming from us embassy manila that i needed to submit approved f2b retention.  I emailed them and they send me the procedure on how to file the CSPA opt out. I follow all the required docs but they were asking about the notice letter about the CSPA opt out..question did you receive the same notice??how many days does it take to have my approved f2b retention?? thank you for your response

Yes i did. It took cguro mga 2 weeks for the approval. pero dont worry, submit mo lang requirements tapos punta ka lang sa interview mo. If asked about the it, sabihin mo lang na inaantay mo pa approval. Once okay na yun, d mo na kailangan pang bumalik sa embassy. Sila na bahala dun.

  7. Hi everyone.. same situation here. The only thing missing in my papers submitted is the DS 260 of my son.  i have already submitted all the other documents needed. They say 30 days to review after submitting missing documents from my checklist. Its been 45 days but still no news. So i wonder, should i resubmit all the documents again and wait for 11 weeks??

  8. Hi. We are a bit confuse.

In the original petition my 2 kids and i are in the petition. When we started the processing i added my youngest son. Things are going smoothly, we all paid our ivf fee ( excluding my son who was not in the petition) and then submitted our ds260 online. After, as instructed we submitted our supporting and financial documents to NVC including my sons documents. thats when we received an email from nvc that we can now pay for his ivf fee and his ds260 online.

Now, my question is, since we have already submitted all our financial and supporting documents before we got an email for his ivf fee, do we need to re submit all our documents??? And start counting again from the day we will re submit all our papers??

In his checklist we only have to do his ds260..but in the processing step after submitting ds260 is submitting the docs.

    What should i do.

    Thank you
