I called NVC. Gave them my USCIS recept number and the representative told me they received the application yesterday.

Uscis case approved on dec 30, 2015(Potomac Service center).

Case recieved at NVC at Jan 20, 2016

Everyone who got transferred to Potomac Service Center can you please post all of your updates.

Case approved(found out by calling tier2); 12/30/15

Today(01/16/16) I called nvc and still haven't received the approved I-130 application from USCIS.

All Potomac people we all need to share information with one another to expedite our process.

Just an update from The Coombs, we married in Jamaica so we filed an I-130.

Seeing that some people are receiving the same "Received at local office" notice it is leading me to think that the new service center (Potomac) is starting to implement their email/text notification system. As I recall before the first couples getting approved were not hearing anything via email or text and solely receiving mail notification.

Continued prayers for everyone as well as ourselves to hear something soon along with congratulations to those that have been and continue to be approved!!

My case was transfered at same time as you to PSC. Looks like we are in the same process and most probably will recieve approval at same time. I think we are in middle of a process and got nothing to worry about.

Crossing my fingers that I will hear good news by next week...."case received at local office" after my case being transferred to Potomac Service Center is giving me anxiety.

I still haven't heard anything, and my pd is within a few days of yours.

Did you get a transfer notice to Potomac Service center?

I also got married in India as well. I am guessing all people who got married in India are getting these notices. I was afraid I am missing a document or their might be some error on my application and will be called for an interview. I also called USCIS, they said they are transferring I-130s one office to another to speed up the process.

I got the same notice on Dec 2nd. My pd was July 14th and transfer date was Oct 15th. Spouse is from india. We may get approved on same day most likely.

Pd= July something 2015

Transferred to Potomac Service center on Oct 16 2015.

Case Was Received At My Local Office

On December 2, 2015, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number , at your local office.

I'm assuming some people are getting approvals and others this notice.
