Just finished my interview. It went well and it wasnt a long wait. I asked the officer if it went all good so I can tell my wife the good news, and the answet was YES. He told me that I should get my passport in a week

You will have to check with your embassy to see if she is allowed. Most US embassies/consulates will not allow anyone in unless they have 1) an appointment or 2) a permission letter in advance.

We went through Australia. We had to write for permission, and I (the US citizen) had to produce the email with permission before I was allowed into the Consulate.

Each embassy/consulate is different.

Good luck! I firmly believe it is VERY helpful to have your spouse with you. If they are concerned about whether your marriage is bonafide, having the spouse there (or just outside) is further probability that your marriage is "real".

My case status since 3rd of October says "Ready", so it's into embassy But when I checked the ceac site I saw a change, the AOS fee changed back to PAID. This is something normal or what?

Just hang up with NVC and I got an app.date It's November 3rd. I was waiting for something around late november, so this is such a good news... Next week I'll start setting up medicals, asap as I receive the e-mail. In fact I still didn't recieve the Case Complete e-mail since my case was completed a couple of days ago

I think you should provide the new address for greencard to be delivered. If you change your address and you don't get your greencard it will be more complicated after and some other fees.

Hi Albano, the first time I sent my documents they were send them to a supervisor after 6 weeks and on the 8 week I received a checklist, now I'm on my 5 week of my second scan date and I haven't received nothing yet. So, I can't tell you something about it but our cases are similar. Please let us know what happens in case I need it. Thanks and God bless you.

Today I woke up and I checked NVC site and my AOS turned to N/A. I think that's a CC for me but I'm waiting to call them and verify Hope you get yours ASAP. I now this process is so stressful Since first scan date I waited 110 days (15 weeks and 5 days). Wish you good luck

I would call again , contact congressman or senator from your state

Yeah I thinked about that but I waited to end this time-frame. I didn't want to push thing up, just afraid that if I contact my congressman things will be not normal. But thanks for your comment

My second scan date was 12th of July. After 6 weeks has passed I talked to NVC and they transfered me to a Supervisor who told that my case will be transfered to "Verification Department" to see why it hasn't been reviewed within the time frame. This process will take up to 6 weeks as the supervisor said. Tomorrow I countdawn to 4 weeks of waiting and still my AOS says "Paid". Did somebody else go through this process to tell me if they take the full 6 weeks or around 30 days mostly?

And another question is, if I don't receive any answer till 4th of October (that's my deadline of 6 weeks) what are the next steps to take?

Has anybody problems with NVC website? When I try to check my case number I got this message: "Application Error You have encountered an application error. Please try again later." Is this something that happen mostly or what? Bests

6 weeks of waiting from second scan date are over. Waiting to call NVC today and talk to a supervisor, so I think I have to week up to 6 weeks again. This is just a sh*tty thing I'm so stressed with all of this, just for one of two signs... If somebody signs in page 4 and doesn't on page 6, doesn't mean that he changed his mind... ((((

True. It is. However, I read at many places that this is why NVC wants you to make sure you send all the papers and everything filled out correctly.

I would recommend you to speak with your senator and have them expedite the process or at least get it to Supervisor review.. At this point, who knows how long will it take for NVC to get to your case... my fear is what if they assign it to the supervisor and tell you to wait again for another 4 - 6 weeks... I am not trying to scare you... just saying. Senator office doesn't charge you any fee for their service.... they can contact NVC and embassy on your and your spouse's behalfs... its worth trying... I would say work with your Democrat senator. They are always there to help... Republican party senators aren't there for immigrants..... In my case, I had both Republican and Democrat senators to choose from... You may have only 1 option... check it out...

Did you call NVC to find out what's going on?

Yeah I called them and the rep on the phone told that I should wait 42 days from the day that they received. If I still didn't get any answer I should call them on the 43rd day and ask to talk to a supervisor. It's just so hard to wait, and all of this just for 1 sign... They made I-864A to sign in two different places, not just I-864 with just one sign.

I think this is your second scan date so it might not be a priority for NVC because they probably trying to get current cases out the door. If they told you 6 weeks, let's see if you get it by next week. If not, have them transfer to supervisor. One other thing you can do is get your Senator involve at this stage so they can request NVC to expedite the process. I pray for you that you get your CC soon. I know waiting is nerve wracking....

Maybe, but I think that's unfair, couse for me they need just to see ONE document not entire package ...

Just checked the site and see 3 N/A I will call them shortly to confirm. The 1 N/A where the AOS fee is a lighter gray color but the paid is not there any more....Sacn date was July 15th
