here is the update, I emailed The US attorney two weeks before the deadline and surprisingly a very nice lawyer of their office emailed me back and informed me that they are working with USCIS to schedule the interview, but they need more time since it was very close to holidays. I agreed to extend the deadline to Jan 11, and few days later received the Interview letter from USCIS to have the interview on Jan 19th. (the interview letter did not have the same format as it normally does). last week we went to interview and passed the english and civic test (our interview was separate from rest of the people and was done by a senior officer who was very nice). at the end of the interview she said she cannot make any declension since our fingerprint result was expired in December and they have to re-run it. by law they have 120 days to respond back to us. I hope we dont get into anther loop. The US oratory contacted me and requested me to close the complaint today. Now, I am the expert of filing the lawsuit though, so next time if they dont meet the 120 days I feel more confident to file the lawsuit immediately . LOL.
