Hi all,
I have a quick question. So we applied for removal of conditions in August. My husband has gotten his 18 month extension already, he got this amazing job opportunity but we’re not sure if he can take it because of this process. If anyone could let me know if he would be able to apply for this job or not due to all of this I would REALLY apprecite the feedback.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Everyone!
I'm soooo happy I found a thread for this! It always feels nice to communicate with people in the same boat as us. My husband's 90 day window opens on the 24th of this month and we just had a baby a little over a month ago so my hands are full with trying to get everything together and being first time parents lol I've heard that this is taking longer then usual now, hoping for things to speed up for all of us. Good luck everyone!! I look forward to getting through all of this with all of you!

The estimated processing time on the USVIS website at the time is what I am interested in. I was wondering if it was 5 months, or maybe 6 months like it is now? Trying to see if there is a pattern or not.?
You can only look at past experience but there is no way of knowing that it will be exactly the same. What I would recommend is for you to look into October 2016 filers and that will give you an idea. If they haven't been getting approved yet then you'll have an idea at the processing times right now. That's what I did when I was in your shoes. I would follow the October cases and once I saw they were being approved I knew I was close by as well. I hope this helps you in some way.

Im a November 2016 filer.
If any of you Nov. 2015 filers still get on VisaJourney.. Id like to ask at the time you were waiting for your approval at USCIS, do you remember what the estimated processing time online was?
We are at Nebraska, and currently they are processing from 6 months ago (July), so I was wondering if that is a reoccuring this for the winter maybe... or just this year.
It took 4 months for us to get approved. Our case was from November 24 and we recieved approvement on March 31st.

Yay! Congratultions, Angela
You so deserve it! What did they ask your husband at the interview?
Thank you!! And they didn't really ask him any questions. They just asked him who was asking for him, had he ever tried coming to USA, where his wife was, and when we got married and where. That was it and then he was approved ???

Congratulations!!!
Thank you!!

Hi guys!!! My husbands interview was today and thank God he was approved. ??? I'm so happy. After so many years of a long distance relationship it's finally coming to an end. To those awaiting the big moment, patience is key. Everything comes at its moment. I want to thank all those who have answered my questions from the start of it all. Thank you! I feel very blessed and I hope that all goes well for everyone else. You are all in my prayers! ☺️?

Hi guys!! I went missing for a while I was getting everything ready for my trip to Mexico. I am currently in the waiting room while my husband does his medical exam. I think I'm more nervous then he was haha I just hope everything goes well and that everything goes smoothly for everyone.

I use a lawyer too. Just like any other profession, they are trying to do the least amount of work for the most amount of money. I called NVC more times than I can remember. If you really want to know, don't wait for your lawyer, just call them! =)
See this is why I dislike lawyers sometimes. They don't try as hard as they should.lol

Just checking in. Case Complete on May 31st. 2016. I am really hoping for a July interview . I know it's a stretch maybe but god has been great with this process. We got case complete in 8 DAYS!.
Congrats to all here. Lets see how this goes down.
Congrats on Case Complete!!! I know how exciting it is to get case complete in such short time!I hope that you get an interview date soon! Best of luck!

They usually send your case about 3-4 weeks before the actual interview. We got our interview date on May 9th and it wasn't mailed out to the Embassy until May 20th, which is when our status changed to "In Transit". Embassy received it on the 24th at which point it changed to "Ready." Interview is on June 17th....2 weeks away!
Thank you LinJoe, How exciting!!! My husband's interview isn't until July 20th and I seem to already be feeling nervous about it haha. All the best of luck! You deserve to be happy after all the hell NVC put you through!

It didn't even take a week for our docs to be sent to Germany from the US. It said "At NVC" for several days and changed from that to "In Transit" and "Ready" in no time. I hear some ppl didn't even see the "In Transit" update at all. No worries ☺
That makes me feel better. Thank you!

Hello everyone,
Around how long does it take for cases to be sent overseas? I have been checking constantly but it still says 'At NVC'.
-
That is amazing yours was so fast and you mailed it and not email. Well your embassy is the busiest on the planet so I would imagine workload is heavy but 2 to 3 weeks is pretty awesome.
Yes I feel very fortunate. NVC was quick for me being prepared ahead of time really helped my odds. It's been exactly 28 days since I got my case number and luckily my husband has an interview date now. It's amazing. This is why I encourage everyone whose barely starting and waiting for case number or for there documents to reach NVC to prepare ahead of time.

Just received the Interview letter via email!
I'm still a bit confused since I was told by fellow Mexican filers that I should have received the welcome letter through the mail but I never did. I was also told I should get the interview letter through the mail as well. I'll just have to wait and see if that happens. If for some reason it doesn't I can just take a printed copy of the one I was sent through email right?
-
Thanks I'm glad there is at least one person on this forum that is from Mexico I do wish you a lot of luck.
How did you find out when your interview was?
I called NVC I'm also in this group on facebook called citados al consulado en cd Juárez and that group is also really extremely helpful I encourage you to join. Especially because it's all Juarez related. I saw that people who got CC on May 6 were getting interview dates that's only 6 days before my CC so I called NVC just to see if maybe and yes I had been assigned an interview.
-
Hey! I'm from Mexico too! And this kind of news make us feel hopeful. Congratulations!
We are waiting for our case number, NVC received our case on May 13, so we hope we can get our case number this week or maybe next.
Oh yay!! This stage moves as quick as you want it too after you get your case number and first fee. I was extremely fortunate. I got my interview day yesterday and it has been literately 27 days since I got my case number. I was prepared and ready to go once I got my case number I had everything pre-filled out and I had the AOS & IV packet ready to go. I hope everything moves smoothly for you! Let me know if you have any questions. I'm here to help.

I got the email within 24 hrs after I called NVC and was told my interview date. When I called the nice lady told me that it literally just got assigned moments ago.
Congrats by the way ☺
Hopefully I'll get it today then. Yeah mine was assigned a day before I called haha thank you!
-
How long does it take to get the interview letter? My interview was assigned I believe 2 days ago and I just found our the date yesterday. How long should I wait until I get the email? Thanks in advance!

Called and got my Case complete May 25, 2016
My Scan Date was May 20, 2016
Good Luck to everyone
Yaaaay! Congrats. There's not a lot of nay filers from Mexico on VJ or maybe there are but they haven't been seen. Glad to have someone accompanying me haha congratulations!!!

At USCIS Stage I was hating on the Fillipinos getting fast approvals now at the NVC Stage I am hating on the Mexicans getting fast case complete
Congratulations!!!
Lol!!!! I remember I was hating on them too at the USCIS stage but now I'm thankful to be in the batch for Mexico haha. You will get yours soon. Have faith!
-
Now I am really, really worried! I will count down the minutes until I can call them. We just got the case number yesterday, so it can't possibly be close to termination
Nooo don't worry! This has to be a mistake on their part. From what you posted this has happened in the past that's why it says something about an error. Just call tomorrow and have them fix it. It has to be a mistake. Be positive and have faith. Everything will be ok
-
Um, we received a case number and IIN yesterday, but when I go to the payment portal and try to log in, it says:
Has this happened to anyone? I am confused. We would like to pay AOS as soon as possible and it seems everyone else payed AOS along with filling out DS-261...
That can not be good. There has to be a mistake I would recommend you call tomorrow ASAP because this sounds serious. I don't think I've seen this happening to others. You should call as soon as you can tomorrow and get it fixed.

Thank you so much for replying! Yes I saw that I was just a little confused as to how specific it was as if in he was eligible to work but had to stay in the job he had or what it was. I don’t remember where but I think I had read someone say that they couldn’t change jobs while waiting for their 10 year residency card but thank you so much for the clarification! 😊
