  1. Hi All--

Does anyone know what "Ready" means in the CEAC website? Based on my readings, it should mean that the case is ready for interview and that the "actual" papers are already with the US embassy here in Manila. We also already received an email from NVC telling us of when the interview date is, however when we called US Embassy, I was told that our papers are not physically received yet by the US Embassy.

We called USEM to check if the papers are already there and if we can get an earlier schedule since Im already done with Medical exam and my papers are ready.. Is there a way to track as to where the actual papers are at the moment?

    Thank you in advance!

Was able to get letter from US embassy today telling that they are done reviewing our papers. We were also able to get an earlier schedule date, from March 23, we are now scheduled next week March 10!! :)

  3. I'm so pissed right now. My husband mailed the documents on 28th Jan and I thought they'd received the documents and I called NVC today and they told me that they haven't received any documents yet :(.. The status for delivery post office also says pending.. So our documents are misplaced I guess cuz it's been 10 days. So we're planning to send through Fed-ex express now.

Is it okay if they receive the documents twice cuz there could be a possibility that that they receive it after some time. Please let me know guys. So upset :(

Same thing happened to us, NVC received two mails from us. One dated Dec 8, the other was dated Dec 28th. When we called NVC we were told that our scan date has reset to the later date which was Dec 28th rather than Dec 8...

  4. Alveoli, would you be so kind to ensure that your timeline is correct? Someone had a question regarding how your scan date and the date you mailed in your documents could be the same (12/28).

And although we've talked offline...you know that I couldn't be more any more happier for you! Congrats my friend???

    Thanks :)

Yes I had it corrected already and added the NVC case completion date as well. :)

  5. Thanks dwheels76. And Alveoli for the follow up. I still have a ways to go as my scan date is 12/31 (hopefully this week ??) but it makes me more aware of what to look for and expect. Haven't seen any CC's for 12/24, 12/28 or 12/30 so....I'm close. Was hoping that last week's activity would filter over to this week...

We are kind of on the same boat shsl73, mine is Dec 28th. I have a friend from here (same scan date as mine) who got her CC last Jan 28th, so I freaked out a little. haha

But this conversation is really helping me out. I have not seen any other CCs for your mentioned dates either. I miss my husband so much and I'm really hoping to get updates this week as well. Good luck to all of us!

  6. It can be anywhere from 30 to 45 days. Really look at Business days to get a realistic timeline. Could be less could be more.

The cases are assigned to varies reps in the center everyone doesn't work at the same pace. Also the person in from of you could have had a 1000 page case file. Who knows you are almost there. I am seeing 12/28 getting CC's so just keep your eyes on our status for the 3 NA's

Thanks Dwheels76! I am closely watching for the 3 N/As hopefully this week. :)

    Thanks again!

  7. Hi All--

I just wanted to reach out to anyone who has the same or close to our NVC scan date. We received an email from NVC saying that they received our papers last December 28th and that we need to wait for 30 days. I know a few from this site who has same scan date and their case has already been complete, yet to this date we haven't received any feedback for our case (aside from the generic response from NVC hotline that our process is under review already... )

we were also told that process may take 30-45 days rather than just 30 days.

I guess, I just want to know if there are also people out there who shares the same experience..

    Thank you in advance!

  8. Hi All--

First, I am amazed by how much information and support I can see from this site. Thank you for creating this forum.

Second, I am not sure if its okay to post my concern here as the subject title says February and my scan date is Dec 28, so I apologize if I'm messing up the convo here.

  9. Thanks All. :)

Was able to call NVC. It turned out there was no issue with our papers. My dear Husband is just too excited to see me that he panicked and got confused with the information given to him.

Jan 30th will be the 30th day of our papers in NVC, hopefully we got all the things they need to avoid further delays. Hopefully we will be able to close our case at NVC by first week of Feb. :)

Again, thank you for the help!
