Hey, your petition was never transferred. As of March 2015 all i129f petitions have been adjudicated by the California service center. What you did was send your package to the Texas lockbox and from there it was routed to csc. Your receipt begins with wac, right? If it was in Texas it would've begun with src. Could you please change that on your timeline? It's important for vj data and helps everyone have a better timeline prediction.
Thank you and good luck on your journey
Thanks for letting me know. All updated.

Hey
We filed on 14th March and we have received our NOA2 on 14th June.
My application was transferred to CSC from Texas! Don't lose hope That representative was incorrect.

Hi All
Back again with the questions
My fiancé and I filed on March 03rd and NOA2 on 14th June. Luck willing I will have my interview in the next two months.
I am employed as a contractor (working for the same company for almost 2 years). However my contracts ends at the end of next month because the project I was working on would be completed. When I applied I stated my employer etc but when I have my interview I may not be employed at the time.
Is it better I start looking for another contract or could I be unemployed at the interview? I don't want to leave any new employer in the lurch if I get accepted but I also do not want to jeopardize my visa approvals.
What would you all recommend?
On a side note I have enough savings to not work for several months so being unemployed for a short period will not hurt me financially

Thanks All, so I was just being a wee bit paranoid then

Hi All
My fiancé and I have been together for coming on 5 years. However during all this time he has never been to NZ to visit my family but I've been to see him several times and met his family.
Too give you a little more background I earn more money than him in my job and NZ has way better employment conditions.
when we first started dating he was on insurance disability recovering from a serious illness. Over the years he has gone back to work & has a great job as a Manager but because of his on going medical history he's never had enough Paid time off to be able to come out to NZ or financially afford it with medical bills. Will this count against us in our visa application despite the fact I've been to the US several times and he's meet my family via Skype. If our visa is approved he is coming out just before I move (saved enough PTO) ...
So I might just be a bit paranoid lol but any advice out there?

Ai, u don't have NOA1 yet either?
No, not even a notification. I think what has happened but need my fiancé to confirm is that he sent it by courier Dallas when he shouldn't of and its been held somewhere. He finishes work in an hour lol plenty of time to harass him

Hey All,
New to the forums of VJ, but found the site more than a year ago when my fiancé and I started to think about moving to US vs NZ.
I finally decided to join the community when I really needed some advice and support. We filed in August but reading here re: timelines we've gone wrong somewhere sooo I have some investigating to do >.< . Trust me for letting my scatterbrained darling for sending of the file lol
Looking forward to getting informed and talking to people going through the same things

I,m an August filer. Reading the thread has made me realize something has gone wrong with our application because we haven't received anything back... Lol. So definitely one way to make me stressed in the morning lol
So next step find out what is going on
Advice please! In middle of K1 - Fiance diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer
in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits

Hi All
I'm seeking some advice.
Earlier this month my fiancé had a medical emergency and to cut a long story short was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer with a tumor on the brain.
As he was admitted to hospital through emergency and at the time we didn't know what was going on other than he had a mass on his brain and required emergency surgery. I flew out the next day to join him entering on ESTA to be there for the surgery and initial recovery.
Since arriving we have had the devesating news of his prognosis and now we don't know what to do. We had received NOA2 and were just waiting on the confirmation letter with the embassy number and this arrived this week.
He is about to go through some very serious treatments. I have to fly back to NZ to complete our visa which was always my intention (return flight is 27th August) but considering the 2 months it will take for me to complete visa stuff this and he needs support to go through his first treatments . We are both are confused on what to do next.
Can I delay filing my embassy appointment at my end to give me more time to see him through the inital treatments?
Can I do a lot of my paperwork stuff here and just fly back for medical and interview?
We don't know what to do. Also he is afraid that given how advanced the disease is after the visa is granted and we are married he could die during AOS how Would that affect me. I.e. Do I become an illegal alien and need to leave immediately?
Should we engage a lawyer?
Any advice on what our options are would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to help.
