Yesterday it said 1 day left on my estimated wait time and today it says that processing is slower than expected and all I have to do is wait totally expected this. When should I be expecting an interview after the estimate time is finished?
-
Is the wait estimate accurate on myuscis ? It tells me I have 6 days left but I've been so unlucky I keep thinking it will just be extended again...
-
I applied in June 25th and my field office is Detroit. My estimated completion time is January 2020. I still haven't received an interview date yet I was wondering if anyone has tried sending a message to their officer on myUSCIS.
-
I just checked myUSCIS account and found out that my estimate had been pushed 1 month further from December to January 2020.
-
I just checked it and OMG it is back. Ok that was weird maybe it was a computer glitch or something...
-
Does anyone know what happened to the spread sheet. Now it has only 3 names.

where do you guys find out the estimated completion time? filed in June 2019 (paper forms), did my biometrics early july and my uscis online portal said the following
"You successfully submitted your form
We are processing your form. It can take up to 48 hours for all of your case information to show on your home page."
Unfortunately for paper based applications the website doesn't give you an estimated completion time.

You've posted in the wrong thread then 😉
Yes I posted here because I thought that since most of us applying for N400 have pending removal of conditions application at the same time.

All N400 applicants need an interview. So it NBC will schedule it for your local office and transfer the files
Sorry. I thought I mentioned this was for my removal of conditions application.

Hello everyone, I received a letter saying that "as part of standard processing we transferred your case to National benefits center that has jurisdiction over your case". Does this mean that they will need an interview? Does anyone have any other ideas?

Yes, it happened to me. I had a biometrics appointment for the i751 a week before the appointment for the n400 biometrics. I took both letters at the first appointment and they took the biometrics for both in the same day
Thank you!

Hello everybody.
I've applied for Removal of conditions last year in June and didn't have to do biometrics. They sent me letter about this. Strangely today I received a biometrics appointment letter for 07/15. I also have a pending natralization application and my biometrics for that is on 07/17. Is this normal?? Has this happened to anyone else and what do you recommend that I do?

So if our joint sponsor is single will his required income be 20K (thats 125% for 2 people according to the poverty guideline)?
-
The doc told me that they do it for men.
-
Hi guys,
This is for the K1 visa. Our joint sponsor is single and owns a business. Does the joint sponsor also have to meet the poverty guidelines or the income requirement of 125 %?
Please kindly share any information that you have about this, we are on the final step of getting our visa.
Thanks in advance

we need to get a joint sponsor!! My fiances friend is single and he owns a business. Does anyone know if the 125% income requirement applies for the joint sponsor aswell?
-
I think you provide the evidence of income for both sponsors. So even if your primary sponsor doesn't earn enough you need to provide proof of their income and the same applies to the cosponsor.

Hi! Can anyone help us please, we are a little confused. If we are taking the co-sponsor, he need to fill i-134 and I-864 ? and does my fiance need to fill that as well even if we have a co-sponsor ?
Yes both of the sponsors need to fill in the i-134 and not the i-864, I think that's for the AOS process.

Congratulations Jaime. Your post gives me so much hope <3 Must be the best feeling seeing them at home finally. We are in Orlando! Finally, my last trip to Ethiopia for a very very long time.
Visas stamped before I start ranting :-)
NO it was not uneventful. Two words-- American Airline Sucks; okay so 3 words.
I've flown a lot internationally. Not million mile, but a lot. 6 times to Ethiopia in a year and half. Several times to South America, various African countries, and Asia.
Of all my trips, this ranks as the worse. And American was the provider for a one way leg only; and they messed that up. Horrible everything, I'm embarrassed they have the name American.
I'm on my phone so I'll wait till I'm at my computer to fill in details. Except to say avoid AA at all costs.
Orlando POE was a 4 hour ordeal. 2 customs officers working the visitor line and 1 in the office. There were like 200 in line. Monday morning and 3 people working---for shame Uncle Sam.
Waiting in line was the ordeal. Once we got to the "interview" it was no issue. I did most of the talking; I was in control :-)
Only asked Aisha her mother and father's name. he assumed Niman was my son, the name, and I didn't correct him...I let him talk.
Aisha and Niman crashed tonight at 7pm. it is great to see them here, sleeping......
Yes I am exhausted, and somewhat still annoyed, but seeing them here, sleeping........
Nothing else need be said---
My interview is in 6 days and the stress is getting to my fiancé and me. Now the only thing left to do is pray pray pray and pray really HARD!!!

tomorrow my interview
Good Luck Kheir InshaAllah :)

I was having the same problem after filling in the DS 160 form. When I tried paying the visa fee online I couldn't, because the immigrant category was not available. I called the embassy and they told me that i can pay on the day of the interview. After I sent in the documents they wanted in packet 3 they scheduled an interview for me.How in the hell did you guys pay for and schedule an interview?
Really I have been to at least 5 different websites some are just info sites and some are sites where they just endlessly ask the same questions, then oops error page, reenter all information again. It's just endless account set ups at different places and still no way to schedule and pay for an interview.
So I think right now it would be best to call the embassy and tell them what you can do.

I think you are over thinking this. Just relax I think your photos should be find. If you can leave them out, then I would. Your choice.
Thank you lovely Greenbaum

Like I said, if the picture can be interrupted that it's a wedding picture then leave it out. Why chance it??
TThis is exactly what my fiancé told me when I told him our photos don't look like wedding photos. To me a pink almost red dress is not a wedding dress. What if they ask about our engagement party because I mentioned it in my letter of intent? Is it possible that they would ask for photos or do they just take what you provide them? Is this counted as concealing info??

Hey guys I just got scared reading about the denied visa. I also have engagement photos but with a big peachy dress which took place at home. So I was kind of scared if the CO will confuse it with a wedding... we have pics of us wearing the engagement rings on our left so that shows its definitely an engagement.. any suggestions as to what I should do?

I read that sometimes if the office has too many cases they transfer some cases to nearby offices!
