No,being processed at the NVC is only a second step. NVC will get onto you guys and request the necessary documents before they can schedule interview. Documents such as police clearance, financial evidence which is avadavits of support and tax documents, immigrant visa application etc.

My husband just has his interview and was approved. Praise God. I sent everything to him. He took financial evidence,original police certificate both the new one and the one we sent in,original marriage certificate, print out of the visa application,the interview letter,two passport photos,his passport, I sent a photo album with pictures taken with him and I,his family and I,marriage photos and photos with my family although he never met them. I also got print out of our phone conversation from the time we met to present. They only asked him for our phone conversation and photos at the interview.
