  1. Hi,

I filed for my finacee after I dated her for over 3 years and she came here on K1 and my step-son came on K2 visa/his father last name on birth certificate, my finacee told me that, father of the step-son is dead. The biy got my lip and eyes, later I did DNA that cost me $450.00, result came and my step-son is my REAL son with 99.9%.

Now what form can I file for the son to legal in America? I decided not to file for the finacee, I can't deal with her. Help me and save my sonn from becoming ilegal here while his real father is America citizen. Son is 2 years now. What can I do ? I can't marry the woman is out of the question.

Assuming that you are a citizen, your son can get citizenship . Though normally, you would file for a certificate of a birth abroad at a US Embassy or Consulate in the country he was born, being here, I'm not exactly sure what you need to do. Talk to a lawyer or see if you can get more information by making an appointment with the USCIS.

Thank you guys and taking all your advice to consideration now....

  3. Hi,

Whenever you email NVC, always put your beneficiary's DOB there.

I emailed NVC, twice in the past with no finding until I wrote them with beneficiary's DOB and this is what I got back:

    Dear Sir or Madam,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Please be advised the NVC case number assigned to Lola Folawewo's visa petition is LGS2006xxxxxx. Please be sure to include the case number in the subject line of all email inquiries.

The NVC has recently received the approved 129F petition filed for a fiancé of a US citizen. The file will be processed in approximately 2-4 weeks and forwarded to the appropriate Consulate General. The Consulate General may or may not request additional information before interviewing the applicant for a K1 non-immigrant visa.

    Regards,

    National Visa Center

  5. My petition was approved 09/21 and NEVER hear anything from the NVC, called yesterday and no information on me or my finacee. Looks like dead-end to me.

I called USCIS and the lady was reading their website information to me, told her I am looking at what is reading to me and she should tell me something new. Something like "oh! they just send your file to NVC today or waiting for next batch to NVC.

  7. i am still waiting for imbra want to know if i am alone

:o holy #######! you've been waiting a long time. have you tried contacting them? maybe it got permanently lost in the mail. you're very patient....I think I would've called a month ago!

All I can say is: be patient

We've tried everything: congressman, senators, letter to CSC director, sending copy of RFE to CSC, and nothing has worked so far. You can try them toon though, you might have better luck than us.

By the way, there's seveal of us with March NOA1 with no RFE's yet, so you are definitely not alone

I am waiting too and be prayfulllllllllllll

  8. Hi Guys,

I married before and divorced my ex-wife, trying to file for my fiancee but with question #9, should I put my ex-wife first name with my last name or her full name?

Question asked for "Names of prior Spouses" but another question on G-325A ask for Family name and Maiden name for the wife but question on I-129F didn't say maiden name.

    Help me clarify it, please.

  9. Hi guys, I need your sincere advice on filing issue.

I was married to old girlfriend of mine in my country, 11 years ago and we had a boy together. Later divorced after moved to America, because of distant and other issues and I got married to American lady for 6 years, with no kid together, we had our differences and later divorced. I got my US Citizenship through my American’s wife. Meanwhile, my former wife was married to another guy and they have twin together, unfortunate her husband died from car accident, a year ago.

I went to my country of recent and met my first ex-wife, we bond and I am trying to file I-129F for her and the twin. My question was, is it going to be approved by the immigration and won’t look like I am jumping around the circle?

    Thanks for your time…
