  1. it a happen to me too they toke all the correspondence and give me the seem peper marked on it we will review the correspondence u provided and we will follow up with u

Yes I know how it is when going through Casa. My husband and I had the same trouble. For us everything worked out and he is here with me now. They sure had us sweating bullets for a while, we didnt know what was going on. Good luck to all going through Casa, and you have my wishes.

Casa works like this alot, not looking at anything, maybe get your state rep involved now to find out whats going on. You dont want it returned only to expire like mine, find out a little more and get back with me.....it wont expire..on the k3 but if it gets returned it can take forever to get reviewed

  2. The K-3 is multi-entry visa that allows travel while waiting for AOS to be approved and green-card issued or while waiting for consular process on CR-1/IR-1 immigrant visa to compleate.

The officer should have not canceled the visa unless the AOS was approved, in that case visa is canceled and I-551 stamp is placed in passport, to allow travel and re-entry on the temp-Green-Card (I-551)

If you do plan on traveling abroad while waiting for the green-card, I would schedule an info pass appointment and ask what the "Cancel stamp" is about, and if needed get AP.

You are talking about K-3 AOS, yet your profile still indicates CR-1/IR-1 it is a bit confusing. You may want to change profile to show Filed for: AOS-Pending. To do that click My-Controls above, and then Edit Profile Info.

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP. IT WAS USEFUL. YES IM SORRY I DO NEED TO UPDATE THE PROFILE TO K-3. YOUR HELP IS APPRECIATED.

  3. AT THE INTERVIEW FOR MY HUSBAND, SHE ASKED US SOME QUESTIONS, THEN ASKED HIM IF HE WAS GOING TO BE TRAVELING IN THE NEXT 2-3 MONTHS. WE TOLD HER NO, AND SHE STAMPED MY HUSBANDS VISA. SHE HAD US SIGN A PAPER STATING WHAT TO DO IF HE WAS APPROVED, AND WHEN TO LIFT THE CONDITIONS AND IF WE HAD ANY OTHER QUESTIONS, SHE WOULD NOT TELL US HE WAS APPROVED, JUST WE WOULD HEAR THEIR FINAL DECISION B4 3 MONTHS FROM NOW. BUT THE STAMP SHE PUT ON MY HUSBANDS VISA IN HIS PASSPORT LOOKS LIKE IT SAYS CANCELLED. HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE B4? I AM SO WORRIED ABOUT THIS. WE GAVE HER PICTURES OF US AND SHE PHOTOCOPIED SOME. I SEE IN THE INTERVIEW SOME TOLD THEM THAT DAY IF THEY WERE APPROVED OR NOT, BUT SHE SAID SHE DIDNT KNOW AND IF THEY NEEDED ANYTHING FROM US THEY WOULD LET US KNOW. BUT CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THAT STAMP CANCELLED MEANS PLEASE!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

  4. OK!! We have a problem. My husband was traveling here after he got his visa. Someone stole the bag at the airport he had his petition in. Has this happened to anyone else before. We are trying to reach the embassy to see if they can forward another copy of the contents of the envelope to us, as we will need it in the near future. We are very lucky they let him enter the USA. Now we just want to make sure he stays here. We have to go back to the airport in a couple of weeks to prove to them that he is eligible to be admitted into the USA. We desperately need a copy of the petition. We tried talking to the airport in Germany, to see if it has been turned into the lost and found office. So far no luck. Does anyone know how we can obtain another copy of all papers in the envelope the embassy gives you for the point of entry?

thanks so much for any and all advice.

  5. My husband got the call to bring his passport in to the embassy. He dropped it off at 1 and was told to come back at 3pm. He came back and they told him his visa wasnt ready yet. And they would call him. That was tuesday and still no call. Has anyone had any experiences with this? I so totally dont know what to think. I am so worried. I think they should have called him by now. Please anyone, can you give me some advice or your eperiences if youve heard of this happening? thank you

  6. it seems there is so much information about the k-1 process but im having a hard time finding any info about k-3 like how long the wait was for security checks. it seems most k-1 visa only wait a couple weeks, but i cant find how long some last for the k-3 anyone with experience plz, or let me know how i can find this info, much appreciated ty.

  7. I am looking for some feedback from anyone who went through casablanca for their k-3. we were told 2 months for a/p, but now its been longer. still no news. can you give me your experiences and how long you actually had to wait, or any feedback would be much appreciated. just about to go crazy with anticipation here, as im sure you can all understand. lol.ty for your feedback

  8. For DHL I did this:

GO to DHL Worldwide Express website http://www.dhl.com

    Select USA

    A new page will open

At the top highlight tracking and click on TRACK BY REFERENCE

In the Reference field type CORRESPONDENCE

For the Shipment date you should select a day before and after the date NVC said they sent your file.

    Customer number leave blank

Origin Postal code should be 03801

    Then Click Track

There are usually more than 1 package sent so track them both.

Thank you very much. I found it just like you said. Im sure you know what I'm going through. We all experience the same...lol. Anyway, thank you again. Good luck to you.

  9. I am using DHL to track the petition, I called and they said they send it out Friday, Sept. 22 but I dont see anywhere on the DHL webiste where there was anything send to the embassy. Please if you have any experiences, I would love to know, just to ease my mind a little bit. I hope they dont send it to the wrong place, you know the usual worry things. Thank you very much.

  10. Does casa require I-134 for a K-3, and also can you have a co sponsor for I-134. I assume both I-864 and I-134 still have to be notarized, sorry i have so many questions, i am like the rest of you, i just want to make sure i do everything right and to be with my husband.

    thank you

    mary

  11. Our I-130 was approved before the I-129f, if the I-129f is approved soon, will we still be able to follow that route if it reaches the embassy first? I thought i read somewhere that a couple of people said they were told they wouldnt be able to. Also, for anyone going through Casa, what is the affidavit of support for I-129f? Are you allowed to have a co-sponsor?

    Thank you

  12. Ok I have a couple of questions. First the I-129f is not approved yet but the i-130 has been. As I understand, the I-864 is for the I-130 and the I-134 is for the I-129f? Am I correct to understand you can not have a co sponsor on the I-134? And if the I-129f gets approved soon and reaches the embassy after an interview date has been set, can he attend the interview for the I-129f and wait for the interview for the I-130 if it is only a matter of a few weeks apart? And what are the chances of getting approved for the I-129f and then to be denied for the I-130? Please hang in there with me, I know I have a lot of questions, but i am so worried about something getting messed up now, and just want to be with my husband, as Im sure you all can understand. I hope I havent asked too many questions at once or caused any confusion, but I need HELP...lol..

    Thank you

  13. Our case was also moved to California from Nebraska and got the 3rd touch today. I am guessing it is a because a letter that will be / has been sent to us infoming us our case has been moved to a local California center for processing.

    Just my guess :)

Your guess has some merit to it, I too recieved my 3rd touch in as many days. But I also remember that I received 3 emails on Thursday telling me that my case had been transferred to California from Nebraska.

It seems as though most of us touched have been from Nebraska. Who knows?

  14. Hi I can tell you that when i married my husband it took us nearly two months to complete the process. They require more documents than what the website for the embassy says. We had to do alot of traveling to Rabat, Casablanca there was problem with the judge he didnt want to sign the papers for us to get married it seems the affidavit of eligibilty and nationality cause some confusion and we had to go to the the embassy a couple of times to verify this was the paper we had. It was in a small town but if you are getting married in a bigger city it should be ok.
