The best way to know what mail you getting is to sign up for the new service that USPS is offering "Informed Delivery" you get an Email every morning with a a picture of your mails.

I've done this. No cons for me. two things could happen, either you'll get your roc approved while n400 is still processing (this is what happened to me), or you'll get a joint roc-n400 interview, which is still good since your roc will finally be adjudicated. If your roc is pending due to background checks, you'll need to wait for it to clear before these two could proceed.

Nowadays a lot of people are doing this thanks to VSC. Feel free to check my timeline for what I've sent with my n400 package.

Hi I read your timeline and documents submitted for N-400 and I have a question

Do I have to submit document covering the last three years of the marriage or only the period after ROC was submitted

    Thank you

  3. Hi VS members,

what a lucky day, i sent my ROC application and got laid off work the same day, i m the beneficiary and i m planning to apply for unemployment i have been working for 21 months with the same company,

my concern is will that have any effect on my ROC if i was called for an interview and my N-400 in the future

i prefer to look for any job than applying for unemployment but just in case thing get rough.

    thank you

  4. HI i really appreciate taking time to answer my questions,

I may not have time to get wills and medical powers of attorney to send with the package but definitely important document to have in life.

i include the entire statement ( one statement per a quarter) but i will add more maybe 2 per quarter.

No affidavit, and probably no pictures (maybe couple with both of us on vacation).

Thank you again for your reply

  5. Hi VJ members,

we getting ready to send our i-751 form and evidence,I want your opinion whether supporting documents that I have will be enough or is there any thing else that i should add :

    1. Copy (front and back) of green card.

    2. Copies of jointly-filed Tax Return Transcripts for last 2 years (do i have to include W2-Forms).

3.Joint checking and saving account (Statement per quarter)(should i highlight our paycheck)

4.Certificate of medical, optical insurance with both our names

5.Copy of dental card insurance with both our name and different notices with both our names

6.Letter showing spouse as beneficiary of 401(k) plan

7.Copies of our car insurance statement showing joint policy

8.Copies of utility bills ( Gas, water and sewer, cable and electric with our names)

9.Copy of airline reservations, boarding pass for 4 trips for the last two years.

10.Home owner and flood insurance with both our names.

    11.house deed showing joint ownership

12.Car title showing joins ownership and car registration

13.Mortgage statement with both our names.

    14. Credit card Statement( one statement per quarter ).

    15. Another credit card Statement( one statement per quarter).

is this enough or do you we have to include affidavit from family and friends??

we didn't take too much pictures will that be a problem.
