Happy New Year everyone. I have a question.. I am a K1 green card holder (Jamaican). I would like know if I need a visa to travel to Europe from the US?

Jamaica is probably using another program to read x-rays than the US is. Some programs are just not compatible. Are they not happy with what has been written on your medical exam? Can't they just go by what the doctor in Jamaica said?

The main problem is the report, there's no report on the disk. The Xray image was the only thing they could get it. They know everything is fine but they need the report as a proof I guess.

Am guessing that was the report In that sealed package that I took to the embassy?

...and why the USmedical gives a CD that only can be read by them? kmt, just frustrating.

I just can't understand why they cannot read it here in the US.

No one here is able to read my chest Xray CD! It is really frustrated because I need the report for nursing school. Doesn't anyone have any advice on who to get read and print?

@boiler My 90 days expired from Monday and we filed the AOS last week Thursday.

Well, he's talking about doing some annulment (excuse my language). Its really not fear because i asked him about certain things before he even started the K1 process. So to me he really lies...because if he had told me what i have i found out now, I wouldn't be here.

I dont think going back home is an option because they might not grant me another visa to travel...

Does he have the option in calling immigration to send me home?

I got married two months now but now i realized that it ain't gonna work with him. I found a lot of nastiness in his closet, things that I asked about before we got married and he lied. Anyway, my question is do you'll know the procedures in getting a divorce?

I have no one here but him so right now I don't know what to do.

I heard him called his bank trying to do stop order on the AOS check.

Flying should be fine as you're flying domestically. It is possible they can stop and question you but it's likely they won't. Bring your passport with you at all times and your marriage certificate when you're travelling. You're here legally. If you get your NOA1 between now and your flight, make sure to bring it.

That's what I don't understand - why can't you start your classes until your GC? I've never heard that before.

Wow @yuna628. Me and my husband have planned our trip to go to Dallas for wrestlemania. Please don't tell me my ticket might go down the drain? Feeling sad. A mean, am traveling within the state.

Hello, I have sent off the AOS/EAD&Travel paper works on Friday. I really hope I sent everything they required.

My question is do you guys know what is next or how long will it take to hear back from them?

I have already got my SS and Now that I have my original married certificate, can I use it to apply for a state ID?

Well, I need to file my AOS so I be a permanent resident, start school and work...

I think it is just hard getting things done in Cali.

The lady at the courthouse would have at least signed the copy.

I got married last month, bring back the married certificate to the courthouse to get an original. The lady at the counter told us that the processing takes 6-8wks. The customer copy I have is not signed and for some reason they won't sign it. they keep saying I should wait on the original.

At the airport (POE) they gave me until March 14 to get married.

My question is....are there any other way to start the AOS? I really feel stuck.

Can the customer copy still be use without signature of clerk or clerk deputy? I am so confused!!

I don't even a license because i dont have what to get one. Luckily I did have my Social Security from long time.

I need to start working so I can help my Husband + the kids should be coming up soon.

I am a K1 (Jamaican). I just came to American in December 2015....I had done the exact thing that have I told you to do. My visa appointment was done online and is that same confirmation I used at Andrews.

DS 160 is with barcode is what u should take to the embassy.

Well, I don't know if you're a K-1 or not....so, there's nothing really in that package from the embassy for you to take to Andrews medical. The DS-160 confirmation sheet is what they normally asked for at the medical.

I suggest you go down to the post office and ask for your mail ( that's what I did).
