My wife got approved today . Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

She is scheduled to arrive here on our anniversary date 05/01. (I was careful with every step of the process, but I just went my gut on this one and booked her flight last month, so I am glad it worked out :-) )

The interviewer actually told her that everything is 100% complete as far as info from the forms or associated docs. He just asked for Passport, medical , Birth, marriage and police certificate originals and she was out with approval.

you are not risking anything Frank, this is a choice that you can safely make. Check the it's website. This is safe and legal!

Yeah, I agree with picobenz. I think we are exaggerating the importance of filling as MFS in this process. If you can qualify for the head of household, then you should do that. This will save you more money and even IRS will recommend that. And then when your spouse come to US, amend it MFJ, and save even more.

Just called NVC, and they scheduled our interview in Abu Dhabi on 04/19. Finally done with NVC !!!

Any idea how long to get an interview date? Would be insane if I got a March interview.

Mabrook Aliqudsi. Hope you get a quick interview. I would tell you that most likely all March interviews are complete and the best possibility is April now. But everything is possible with NVC.

Holiday weekend. You know when NVC is closed people go away. Tomorrow it's on.

Mostly everyone is over now on my Interview thread. All But me I think got interviews (figures). So it's a joyous time.

I am also waiting for interview dwheels. Last week was soo rough. Once I received my CC , NVC was scheduling for late January CCs and then they started on February and even some cases after my CC (02/04). I know that every embassy is different but my hopes were really high. And then, they stopped the scheduling.

I mean we waited for USCIS and NVC for months , but this last step seem to be the most difficult. You dont even know what to expect or when.

Congrats to those who received the interview dates and be ready. And for the rest, hang in there , we are almost there.

This is soo ridiculous. I think NVC is telling everyone that they are done with March interviews !! Meaning another month of waiting!!!

Okay I don't know if its nepotism or not but Hallelujah I got Case Complete.

Best part was I saw the 3 NA's covered my mouth, my husband thought I bit my tongue. I showed him what I was seeing on my phone and he gave me a big hug and kiss and said "Baby we did it".

Scan date 1/4. Today is day 36.

My timeline is jacked and trying to get the admin Captain Ewok to fix it.

Waaaaaaaaw. So happy for you dwheels. NVC should give you CC, Interview date, and interview at your home then admits you here with red Carpet :-)

My scan date is 12/29 and hoping for CC before the end of this week.

Yeah I saw that. Not sure if he was lucky or expedite the case, but I believe there are others with scan date of 12/22, 12/23 that are still waiting.

Anyway, Its great to see some progress. Mine is 12/29 so I will keep you updated if I hear anything new.

Heya, so who has the next close set scan date to hear something from the NVC? Just trying to see how far along they are with their reviewing schedule

My scan date was the 4th of January, I don't know if im next in line or not

Mine is 12/29. So hopefully my case complete is coming soon. We have seen 12/22 get CC so far and assuming that NVC didn't have scan dates around Christmas and the following weekend. They should be working on 12/23 and half day 12/24, 12/28-12/31 this week and then to January.

It will always start on the last day they have.

So about a more for me, if they keep up the case speed no.

Monday: Dec 23

Tuesday: Dec 24

Wednesday: Dec 25

Thursday: Dec 28

Friday: Dec 29

It did fit for this week and they where even a little faster

I know someone mentioned that there could be few cases with a weekend scan date. But should they have cases with Christmas scan date ? I though they were closed so we should jump directly to 12/28.

If we take out the holidays and the weekends, they should be working on the end of December early next week

Today is the day, (so our lawyer says). Finally our AOS/IV paperwork were emailed (EP) to NVC today! Since I can't track when NVC received it via UPS, when do you think I can call NVC to verify they received our documents (scan date)? I really don't feel like I can count on my lawyer to fill me in on anything, his communication is awful. I finally feel like we are apart of the race again.
