Hi guys,

I would like someone's advice regarding my case, so my wife had an interview for CR1 visa at the US embassy in Casablanca on May 16th, she got approved, no documents were missing, everything was fine. since that day there was no update on the NVC website, aramex link, and ustravel website. the status at the NVC website still showing the interview date, I couldn't get in touch with the embassy in Casablanca to inquire about the status of our case, it's hard to get someone over the phone. also I emailed the embassy , but no respond yet. unfortunately I did buy a ticket for tast Saturday, but I had to move it to this Saturday again, hopefully she will get her passport this week, but no good signs yet, was there anyone went through this before. any help or advice I will appreciate it.

First of all, do not send 2 things at the same time to NVC..they always overlook some..

You sent the case documents to NVC together with a request to upgrade your petition..

NEVER do that..send them separately...

What you can do now is re-send the Naturalization certificate copy and your request to upgrade, with Case Completion mail copy as well from NVC to below address :

You will get an upgrade within 2 weeks, rather than wait for supervisor review..which will be like 60 days wait..

about the online method at ASK NVC, yes I tried it on March 1st, but so far i didn't heard anything;

I am having a hard time with NVC and I would like some advice please.

so far my preference category is F2A, PD March 2nd 2015, i have case completed by phone on Feb 19th and received the email on Feb 26th.

but what's make me nervous is that NVC reviewed my Documents which have a copy of my naturalization certification and a letter saying that I became a USC asking for upgrade. so I had CC but no upgrade, I called customer service some told me no visa available, I said I am a USC now, they told me when did you send your naturalization I said with all documents on Jan 11th. they told me it's not updated yet... we are going to forward your case to a supervisor

also they told me that there is a different department that take care of this request!!

I don't know what I did wrong, and why my petition didn't get upgraded yet?

is there is any similar case or any advice guys. do you think my case get forwarded to a different department and it's under review for upgrade or just stuck somewhere?

Thanks for your respond, yes i did send an email to the NVC, my PD is march 2nd 2015, they received my documents on Jan 13 and i got CC on Feb 26th.

when i called them they keep saying it's under supervision review and it will take up to 45 days, which is too much because that was problem from their side not mine, what can i say i have to wait then...

Hi Hamada2013, we are on the same boat. I just got my citizenship last couple weeks and what i did is I sent a letter stating that i'm now a USC and would like to upgrade my petition and along with that letter is my certification. I include them in my documents like AOS and IV Package. So i called them yesterday and confirmed that they received my docs and they said they will review it in about 30 days.

can you please help me out, I am in the same situation as you guys, i sent all documents for review including a letter and copy of naturalization to get upgraded, so on Feb 19th i got CC by phone, but i am still under F2A, i don't know why didn't upgrade my petition, i called NVC, but they say they didn't know and then they told me they are going to forward my case to supervisor, any idea what should I do or is this normal to not have upgrade and case cc same time?

meanwhile guys, I have a question please if anyone can clarify this for me, so I am going for interview next month and they ask me to bring marriage certificate; however, mine is in a foreign language and I do have translation; but I will use the original translation to send it to NVC in the up coming days, my question is do they need original translation to check it in addition to the copies and the marriage certificate? please help

I hope you are having a great day! Yes, I remember seeing the message then after 3 months, I got our welcome letter. Do you have your case number and invoice number? If so, whenever you call them always ask "Please update me with my case" either they will say no visa available or your case has been reviewed last (date here) and wait for 42 days for your welcome letter.

Update on my welcome letter. Just called NVC and they told me that i will be betting my welcome letter starting today up to 42 days. so who ever expecting welcome letter for this month, check EMAIL everyday!!

Hello guys, same thing here, just finish a call with nvc and a representative told me you should receive a WL from today up to 42 days. I am glad we are next inline. Good luck everyone

I have a question please, usually when I call NVC and ask about update of my case, or when I am going to receive the WL, or when I am going to start processing, or when I am going to start filling. there is only one answer for all this statements: we are processing cases with PD of June/15/2014; and your PD is march/2015 so there is no visa available for you case?? well, I don't need a visa now I just need to start filling my application; also how they knew that there is a visa available or not, is it based on what?? if it is PD some people received WL with even PD newest in the list than older ones ( good luck for everyone . for me seems like customer service doesn't know what's going on inside NVC.

I just called them, she said no visa available for your case and so we can't start processing your case now, also she told you might not have anything in december

PD 03/02 no WL yet, no update on the nvc website, i am hoping this week as it's first week in december to see a big change. Staying optimist

I got the same message too, some people said that nvc changes it standard message. I wish this is a good sign for us.

Hi everyone! Im confused my husband has called nvc yesterday and they said that our case was received on 4th november he asked for case and invoice# but they said they are working to enter informations to the systems and we have to wait for 42days to get our case#

No you don't have to wait all 42 days, in my case I called to ask about my application if they received it and if I can have a case number, so they told me that they received it and they are entering my info into the system and I should call in 42days to ask again, but actually I could not be patient I just waited 10 to 12 days and I called again and I was able to get case number and invoice number; however, I am not able to access anything yet.
