Great to hear from you. So she got only the state report? My fiance also being an immigrante to Mexico, if he had a criminal past here, he would be deported. Did her checklist for the interview include getting the police certificate? Just curious
Glad all went smoothly for you. Hoping for the same with us.
He should get a police report from each place/state/country where he lived 6 months or longer

Sorry for not replying sooner. My fiancee went to the Agencia de Administracion Penetenciaria de Nuevo Leon in downtown Monterrey. She asked for and received the letter for just a couple of pesos and in very short time. During the interview they asked for many documents and only asked a few questions about her knowledge of me, my work, where I lived, etc. Since she does not have a criminal past there were zero questions about those topics nor the document she provided.
I hope this is helpful

AmGe. Thank you. I tend to do things like that. Better to over prepare than leave things to chance.

tab4768 -- Great document! Lots of great information on it. We are still waiting for the letter to arrive at my fiancee's home in Mexico with the specific interview preparation instructions and required form. I will let you know when it does and what it says.
Thank you

My fiancee is preparing for herK1 Visa interview at the Consulate in Ciudad Juarez. One of the requested documents is the Police report/Police Certificate. Does anyone know where she can get it? She lives in Monterrey, Neuvo Leon, Mexico

Contact one of the 2 U. S. Senators from your home state. They can make an inquiry on your behalf "in the interest of the Senator" (that is the "way" they say it). Just mention that the case has been in process for much longer than the usual time for that particular processing center and they will be happy to look into the situation for you.
My case was similarly, and without any good reason, put "on hold pending the results of the security checks." I contacted my Senator's office and my Petition was approved 7 days later. I wish I had called 6 months earlier. It took a painfully long 312 days for my petition to get approved. There are on average about 35,000 K-1 Petitions filed every year. Supposedly we all get processed on a first come first served basis but I suspect some cases get put aside if they have a lot of pages, have a lot of errors, or incomplete.
I hope this was helpful

She only got the one from Monterrey, NL (the state level). I just spoke to her and she says no one asked her specifically about the document during any part of the day of her interview nor when she entered the USA
