I'm a little confused about the k1 visa process at the NVC stage and need some advice! Do I have to send any documents and pay fees when the NOA2 has been approved to NVC or do they just send our paper work to the consulate after approval?

I'm confused because I read somewhere about sending form 3330 or so to NVC or is this a different process altogether ? I'm worried since it's already Being two weeks since I receive the second notification and haven't heard anything from NVC thanks for all help and information and your precious time in this matter

I recived my NOA 2 on 7 December and today I found out the NVC case number, u need to call them , this is the number phone : +1 (603) 334-0700, when the robot enter press 1 for English and to the other one 2 for agent , u need to know your recipe number ( the one that u used to track online your NOA ) and the full name of u and your fiancé and they will tell u if they recived your case and if yes will give u a new number case

Hello I am from Romania too and I have the NOA 2 too I have the same question like u have if u finde something can u tell me ?

Got the RFE notification yest 12/3. finally I heard something. My application is pretty simple as well but I think I know why. My itenarary did not show the year we met, and I did not add passport stamps so I am guessing that's the problem, though I added just about everything else including pics with the year on it.

It should be in my mailbox soon but not for sure what the RFE is.

I recive my rfe on 17 november , i recive the gard copy with the list of the things that they need from me on 21 november ( my fiance forgot to put an x in a box , the File with question AND i forgot to put a letter of intend) AND on 30 november we send the rfe answer to them, AND they Recived on 1 December( my status changed in " rfe was Recived ") Now we wait the answer. Actually since we recive the notification of RFE we review the file that we sent initially and straight away we knew that is about that letter . U should review your file again at least to know what to expect. I hope it helps u this information , now we wait to see what they decide. Good luck

So this weekend we recive the hard copy of the RFE and exactly how I was thinking it's about the statement letter of me the beneficiary that I haven't done it, so after I send the letter to them after how long I will recive the answer ?

All I want for Christmas it's NOA 2 approved ?

I was thinking at the same amount of days because it's in California and we are adjudicate at California service center so it's in the area...I hope with all my heart that everything will be ok I miss my fiancé so much...thank u for everything

Yes, we did the same mistake of including letter of intent from petitioner only with the original packet and got RFE for that. Definitely both letters are required

I hope it's just that, after the notification from application that notify u for RFE how long it took to the hard copy of RFE to be in mailbox at your fiancé ?

Doing the k1 fiance petitioning is pretty tough. You really gotta do a lot of researching before you can make up a complete list of stuff you need to put in the packet. Don't worry Francesca. Things will turn out good soon.just provide the additional evidence theyre asking from you. They'll get to it fast soon as they receive it.

Cheer up... you will get the approval a little later than expected once you get all the needed information that they are asking u will too get your notice of approval. Keep the postive vibes

Thank you for your positive energy, I am a little disappointed of course but hopefully everything will be ok.. I am so curious what evidence they need, and I bet it's about the letter because I didn't made and statements letter just him...

Know someone after how long after they recive the notification with RFE from the application they recive the hard copy in the mailbox?

We had an RFE for the same reason (forgot to include beneficiaries letter of intent to the I-129F package). We just sent a scanned copy of letter of intent and it was sufficient, got approval without further RFEs.

I just recive my RFE in my application I wait the recipe to come in the mailbox to my fiancé to see what is missing etc, but I remembered that just my fiancé write a letter of intend to marry within 90 days etc I didn't write any letter , so maybe this is the reason ? We need both of us to have the letter of intend ?

What caused the RFE??

Try your best to respond, return your RFE response with all the requested evidence before the deadline given by USCIS with a cover letter of respond to the RFE. Your approval will happen soon after addressing the RFE,

USCIS adjudication officer uses RFEs to request additional information on the pending application under any of the following circumstances:

(1) Something is not clear in a case that you have filed;

(2) If there is a document missing;

(3) the officer needs updated information on your case;

(4) the RFE notice was issued by mistake or in error;

(5) the RFE letter was issued for any other reasons the adjudication officer likes.

Hey guys! Don't let stress overwhelm you.

When we were waiting for the NOA2 I was getting depressed because people with a NOA1 later than us were getting approved.

I was having doubts: is it because my fiancé is divorced, is it because I'm Mexican, is it because of my age?????

The moment I stopped looking constantly, that is when the approval came through. 37 days it took.

For what I have seen, and without being an expert, if your case is rejected it is pretty quick. Either you payed the wrong fee, you filed the wrong forms, you didn't sign it etc. , etc.

The only two options left if either an approval or an RFE and both of them mean the case isn't rejected!!! So don't worry and keep the positive thoughts.

We are all in the same path and I wish you all a soon Approval!!!

Patience is what we need the most. The only tip I can give you is don't think about it too much. That's when you least expect it and you will have an approval . I was approved after 40 days.

I know u are right , but it's so hard to not check my status online thousands times on day.. And I miss my fiancé even my dog miss him..so I guess everyone from here knows how hard it is..and I am confront a mixture of feelings:excitement stress calmness nervosity etc ))

My NOA 1 was recived on 7 October , I don't know exactly when my fiancé lawyer sent the papers but I know that on 9 October they send us the recipe saying that they recive the case on 7 October... And I see that everyone recive NOA 2 in around 30/30 and somethin days... It's because I am from Romania , I saw that it's a small amount of people for k1 from my country..

Patience is what we need the most. The only tip I can give you is don't think about it too much. That's when you least expect it and you will have an approval . I was approved after 40 days.

Today are 42 days since NOA 1 should I call them or I am exaggerated? ) I am starting to loose my patience

Hello I am new here, my NOA 1 was recived on 7 october, AND i See that a lots of people already have the NOA 2, hope it Will be Soon FOR all of us that still are Waiting ????, VJ estimate me that Around 7 novembber i Will recive the NOA2 AND It's 10 already but hopefully will be soon .
