Kasoma congratulations! I also had my interview today. Arrived early about 45 minutes before. The officer was nice. When we sat down, he asked me for my passports (old and new). Then he asked when did I come to US, then my full name and address. He asked if that was the safe address to send green card. Asked if I was married before and if I had any kids. Asked if I was working and where. Then we had yes/no questions. Then he was looking over my file for a little bit, scanned my A number to the computer and said you are done. We just need to finish security check. If anything comes up, they will let me know. If not, I should receive GC in about a month. At the end he said congratulations to me. The interview was maybe 25-30 minutes. I recommend to prepare for interview, review your paperwork. He also kept my I94 card and said that I didn't need that anymore. That was it. Now I am hoping the security check will be finished soon. I am glad the interview is over but I have to wait more. I will keep you all posted.

Yesterday i got notifications about my AOS been approved and card been produced im so very excited my journey is finally over now im just waiting for my card to arrive in my mail.

Fresh15 the paticenceisvirtue can't ask to expedite her EAD because the Immigration Law does not issue the work permit for category C 17 or C31 BEFORE VAWA APPROVAL, just for category C 9, it's not her case since she doesn't have a pending AOS.

OTI it takes 10 /15 days after the interview to get the GC when the IO approves the GC on the spot.

I would like to know the estimate waiting time for the notice to arrive in the mail,if it was not approved on the spot by the officer the day you went to the interview.

the interview was soo easy just the Yes/No qn. The interview lady was so nice she was so surprised that my case took a whole year.she did approved me right away and told me to give at least two weeks to have GC Thank u guys for ur support.

Today it was my interview and i got there in the morning and the shortly a lady officer call me and my lawyer then we sat down,she ask me basic question like my name,address...etc and some yes and no question after that she took my passport,work permit,I-94. she left a room and came back after few minutes and told me she's gonna held my case for review and once they made a desicion they will mail it.now i dont know if she approves it or denied it.so i guess i gotta wait for that notice in the mail.

My interview is this week they told me to bring I-94,Passport,Medicals, W'2 or 1099 for the past 3 years,2 passport pictures.

They sent me the mail and my online status has not change yet and they might sent you a interview letter around July and also this waiting game is no joke try to keep yourself busy.

Skazzka remember my case was transffered in Dec 31,Well this month in April i got my interview letter it will be in May and my office is NY.i hope you get yours soon next month.

Skazzka and geoheaven my case was transffered on Dec 30 2015 and NYC office responded yesterday i got a letter for my interview its in May 2016. so i hope guys you get your dates soon its about time for things so start moving for us we been waiting for so long.

@geohaven i call the uscic number and the guy told me to wait for April/May we might get a interview letters according to NYC local office time frame is gonna be doing Sept/October filers.so let just wait and see and also i will keep you posted if i receive anything from uscis.

Skazzka i hope our turn comes soon i been reading other forums lot of people who's case been transfer in Nov/Dec already received their interview dates for March.
