  1. Hi,

I'm so mad at myself: all my stuff was almost ready, i just needed to print a few more items on my list. My printer broke and I could just replace it today.

So it means my petition will arrive tomorrow, anniversary date of my arrival.

My understanding is it is a day too late, isn't it?

    What can i do now?

Are they going to deny my petition for 1 day??????

    I cannot sleep.... :(

  3. Hi everybody

just aquick note to let you know how fast and esay it was ti file the I 130 last friday at the Us Embassy in Paris

Marc ( the USC) and me were very worried at first because we had read that the embassy took only 15 couples on the basis first come first served every friday begining at noon. So we arrived at 8 am... and we were third couple on line....

We our tile arrived, we went to a first line, paid the 190 dollar fee, and then we went together to another "guichet" sorry I don't know the name in english... - and everything was in order the two G325, the photos, the passeport, the divorce certificate ( the original one from the tribunal de bobigny, not the city hall copy ), the I130 and the first part of the DS230...

then we had to wait like 10 minutes to be interviewed together by a thrid employee, how did you met, how long have you been married, what do you plan to do in the us ... and that's it...

our petition was approved on the spot, people very helpful, veryf friendly

I just have to wait for my hubby to send me the I 184, and then I'll have all then papers ready and I can sedn back the letter the embassy gave me ( only the letter, not the forms) th have my appointment. They said it would be two to three months before I have my green card in hand... youpi!

  4. Hi everybody,

My fiancé, Marc and I Marie-Clémence, have just send the invitations for our wedding, july 22 in France.

I'm a french citizen, he is a USC. We've met in France three yars ago, ha was at taht time a french resident.

We plan to file a DCF in Paris just after the wedding.

I am currently in the US, I've entered the country with a journalist visa (R I) in december ans will leave at the end of june.

In the meantime, my passeport with my visa was stolen in the us.

Will it compromise my chances to file a dcf with Marc?

If anyone has infos on the paperwork to do before the wedding....

    Thank you

    :)

    Marie
