  1. My fiancee already got her visa yesterday.

We just want to say "TAHNK YOU" to everyone in this Forum.

We appreciate everybody in here to support each other.

Chinese said,"MAY ALL LOVERS FINALLY BE UNITED" We give our best wish to every lover in the world! (L)

    Thank you!

    Thank you, very much!

  2. Hi, My fiancee use the internet to fill the online DS-156 E-form. (It seens we only can do that way) After she click the "continue" button, we see the form generate the barcode on it. Unfortunately,we found the one letter is misspell on the question 31. Is it possible we recreate the new form with the new barcode? Then she

just bring the correct printout to the interview. If we want to correct the mistake. which department we shoukd contact? the USCIS, NVC or Consulate?

    Please give us some ideas.

    Thank you.

  3. According to NVC and the state department visa services, our case has been forwarded to Vancouver for processing.

However, Vancouver consulate did not receive it. I check the DHL tracking from Nov 3 to Nov 15, there is no package went to Vancouver at all.

Why the NVC told me that my case was forwarded to Vancouver on NOV 3?

Is this due to name check hit again?

my case was delayed for 40 days at USCIS due to name check hit after RFE.

NVC computer said it sent, but the case may never leave the NVC and sitting somewhere?

    Anyone have similar experiences?

Hi, I just received the email from them on last Thur, since they have four days holiday, Fri(11/10) to Mon(11/13), so you should email them and ask your current status, the email is Vancouverk@state.gov

I hope you will get the reply soon.

  4. Hi, I have a stupid question.

After reveived the Checklist from the consulate, how many days I can prepare the documents?

Do they set up the due date to return it?

My fiancee needs few weeks to get the police report from the third country where she lived more than

    6 months before.

The checklist should be coming in next week, the NOV2 stated the expiration date is 01/25/2007. Does she

can return the checklist at the end of NOV or the beginning of DEC?

    Thanks!

  5. My fiancée is Chiese citizen, she is studying in Canada from 2003 to present. She also studied in Singapore from 98-00, so, how many police reports she need to prepare for K-1 Visa? Does she need the Singapore one? If she does, it is difficult to go back Singapore to get it, anyone can tell how to obtain it from Canada or China?

    Thanks.

  6. Hi, I just received the email from NVC with my case#VAC*************** :)

    "Dear Sir or Madam,

Your inquiry has been received at the NVC. The non-immigrant visa petition you mentioned in your letter has already been entered into our computer system and assigned the case number listed in the subject line.

As part of the aftermath of the events of September 11, 2001, there are additional security check requirements for visa applicants. While it is not possible to predict when the clearances for this case will be finished by all involved Washington agencies, please be assured that as soon as the results are received, the case file will be forwarded to the appropriate Consulate General.

    Regards,

Now, I have some questions about it.

    1) How long do they "finished by all involved Washingto agencies"?

    2) If I want to email them again, whick case number should I provide? the USCIS one or this new NVC one?

    3) Is it VSC stand for Vancouver, Canada?

  8. Hi, I just want to ask some stupid questions?

    1) If the case moving to NVC, and further to Embassies/Consulates, can I still use the USCIS Case

Status Service Online to check the updated infos? or I need to directly contact the NVC, and Embassies / Consulates (by phone or Email)?

    2) When (NOA2? Package 3?) do I know which Embassies/Consulates my fiancee attend the interview? She is Chinese and studying in Canada (West coast). On the I-129F form, I put her current Canada address on it.

    Thanks.

  9. I just reveived the following message today.

"we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates. "

Anyone received message before? and anyone can tell me what does it mean?

    Thanks.

  10. Hi, everyone,

My fiancee is studying in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada as foreign student. Thanks for everyone's help.

I know she can interview in Canada instead of going back to China. So, I just want to ask which embassy

/consulate should I filled for the Question 19 on the Form I-129F? Calgary in Alberta or Vancouver in BC?

I know both have the U.S embassy/consulate in there.

    Thanks again.

  11. Hi, everyone,

My fiancee is Chinese citizen, but she is studying in Canada as foreign student. She has the legal study

visa till 2007. I am going to apply the K-1 visa for her. Can she interview in Canada? or she must go back to China and complete the interview? Anything I need to do when I submit the I-129F to request the interview in Canada? If she can interview in Canada, which embassy in Canada she should attend? She lives in Alberta. I hope anyone can give me the answer.

    Thank you
