our POE has been planned for April 8th for the last few months, so thats why i was so nervous about it all, but now that its safely in my hands.. And by that i mean it packed away in a safe strong box and up on a high shelf until we leave !! ... Less than 3 weeks !!!!!!!

yes, american are square, canadian are rectangle .. i did mine at costco as well and they were american size but i told them they were for a us visa.. just see if they're quare.. i think medical can be us or canadian but your 129 f should have been american sized

if you dont have us sized there is a photo booth downstairs before you go up the elvator jut bring 10$ bills

got my passport today !! ... as said before packing tape was used to seal all the edges, there does look as if it was starting to tear on the seem but its under the tape they put on, and all of the seems are in tack, so im not going to worry about it, its clear i didnt taper with it seeing as its under the tape they put on, and it is also atttched to the paper they tape to the front, so if i had taken it off the paper would have shown some damage as well .. not sure why they would think we're the ones opening it anyway, not like its useful to us to see in it haha ..

As soon as i got it i put it right back in the mailer and into a cardboard box where it will stay until i cross so that no more chance of rips or damage, since there is still quite a bit of exposed envelope im nervous about.. I plan to just hand it to them in the mailer and say that's exactly how it came if they say anything about it, which i doubt they will since its barely noticeable you'd have to be looking for it( which i was from seeing this post!)

i brought with me way to much stuff.. and they asked for non of it, but for domicile i had his utility statments, phone statments, a copy of his lease, a copy of his drivers lisence, a copy of his passport and bank statments with his address on it.. call me an over acheiver ! haha

I also had way too much stuff for afidavit of suport, they just asked for the most recent tax return and w2.. i had what turbo tax prints out as the "for your reccords" part.

my status changed to ISSUED today !!! :D The subtext says final proccessing if you dont recieve in in 5 days .. is that the last update before i get my email with a tracking number ?!

How long does AP normally last after it changes to non immigrant .. To changed to ready and the case creation date update does on the 14 and it said check back in 2 days yatta yatta .. Then maybe 20 min later it changed back to AP and hasn't updated anything since .. Am I being pariniod or should I be worried ??

Any updates on your case?

I emailed them, and they said "We received your documents on the 14th. Please allow 8 weeks for processing."

I REALLY hope this is just what they tell everyone to make them stop emailing and it's not actually going to take 8 weeks!!! ?

well, its been 2 days and its still in the second AP .. im really hoping it changes soon since it said check in 2 buisness days .. The date hasnt updated from the new non immigrant creation date..

when i booked mine it was about a 2 month wait until the first open date.. however the whole month of wednesdays were open, so it could have been closer to 3 months if i had waited and missed the earlier open spots !

that probably means that they got your divorce order and are looking at your case !

It changes to non - immigrant once its about to be printed since K1 is a non immigrant, but its handled like an immigrant to begin with (makes no sense, i know)

Ours says updated today now, but still AP. But we never saw it say Ready...

I CANNOT WAIT until all of this is over! This is so nerve racking!

does it say immigrant on non immigrant ... an update date could mean they got your package from their offsite sorting place !

im happy i did though or i wouln't have seen the change to ready, i would have probably seen AP still and missed the whole non immigrant part haha i changed twice in less than 2 hours haha

It sounds like they are in the process of printing your visa if it went from Ready back to AP.

Okay now i am not going to check again until tomorrow.. because evetually they're going to block me ... again haha a few days ag i went back so often i kept getting error after i tried too many times haha

no. because im obsessive i checked CEAC again, and now it says AP but Non Immigrant .. thats normal right ? then it should go to final processing and issued ?

I lived with my fiance for a year before moving back here to file this.. living in my parents basment hasnt been the funnest part haha

can't wait to be home!!

Originally I was planning on moving on 3/21, but now it will probably be 3/29! Pretty crazy it's so close.

no, it changed to non immigrant ready and the cae creation date changed, says to check back in 2 business days !! But its not AP!!!!

i also just noticed that i replied so quickly that it lumped my complain with my excitment post haha .. speak of the devil i guess!!

I'm trying to stop myself from checking constantly, but i've already checked twice today.

twice.. haha im on like 6 ...

im just so angry that this was totally not my fault and i had everything right but no.. i get a delay !

We also broke the rule, and i know i know im not supposed to book anything but my family is taking the time off to drive down with me so we had to pick a date, given others getting thier visas back quicker, i gave myself a month...

now im panicing that they're going to take forever to get it back to me and im going to have to re figure out everything !

My fiancé Josh was there on the same day. He was also given that white paper and had to send in something (apparently Canada issues only divorce orders and you have to request divorce certificates, which is what the US needs).

He mailed it back in the same day. Our CEAC status says Administrative Processing, but the date first said March 9, and then changed to March 10 (the day Canada Post said his certificate was delivered).

When I emailed, they were very unhelpful, unfortunately.

I'm hoping we are not stuck in AP for awhile!

I actually talked to Josh that morning !!! Sorry to hear about not having the right paper !!

I was told that it would only delay me a week or so when i mailed it in, but then ended up handing it in so im hoping that means less delay !!

The date changed, but i think thats because i emailed them and asked if me brining in my passport sped up the procces and they responded that they did recieve it on the 9th, and they have forwarded it to be reviewed ( Not sure what that means, its not like i faked the coating ahah ) so and they will let me know when there is an update so hopefully next week !!

I had the really nice guy that everyone talks about, i asked him if it could be fixed today and he told me he would be very suprised if they laminated it on the spot, so i honestly think he thought getting a new one and mailing it in was my only option, so would have automatically put it in AP..

okay .,, im hoping its an over site since i was supposed to mail in documents that it was put in AP .. it sounds like the same subtext, mandatory administrative may take a few weeks if you were asked for anything mail it in .. it hasn't updated today, hopefully it changes to something different tomorrow !

I can't see why it would need extra AP if i dropped it off not even 30 min after i walked out the door ..at least that's what i hope !!!

Well, it sounds like you may have received a 221g at first, but I always thought it actually said it on it... But regardless, since you went back and gave them your passport, you should be okay.

What does your CEAC status show as the status? Is still set to READY? You should see it change today or tomorrow to hopefully ISSUED.

Yeah, it changed to AP on the day of my interview.. I wasn't sure if it was a 221g because it was just a print out with general information.. I hope you're right and it changes to issued soon !!
