I think I am in the same situation.

When I called their number, the automatic service would say your case is at Lee's Summit, even until now. However, when I went in to an infopass in November, the officer told me that my case was ready to be scheduled for an interview, but they in san Francisco was too busy and an interview availability would have to wait for. I asked him does that mean my case was at my local office and he said yes.

So I am not quite sure if it's just on their automatic system things aren't updated or what. But I had hoped to get an interview notice in Dec or Jan, but I did not. If case progress site is accurate, then the latest I might have to 2 more months.

I even called to talk to a tier 2 officer, but they said that they were too busy and couldn't transfer me. They took my number for a call-back serivce, but it's been a week and I've received no phone call no nothing.

Try calling them as early as 8 am so that the tier 2 officer can call you back soon coz that what I did and I was able to know where my case is right now. I am from Massachusetts and my case is in Nevada so I won't have interview anymore so I am just waiting for a letter from them if there a need for RFE or just wait for card to be release.

  2. Hi everyone, is any one here from Boston? I am still stuck in fingerprint :(...

I called up the USCIS and they told me that Boston office is still working at May 2016 filer. will that mean I have to wait for 3 more months for my case since I am an August filer?

Is there another way to make a follow where i can have a real status of my case?

Thank you for reading and replying for my questions. Appreciate it very much.

  3. wow so excited for you amythyst... I hope i can receive mine too asap... I did called them up and even wrote them an email as soon as i received their email regarding section 221(g) on tuesday but same answer, "wait to hear from them again." so will just patiently wait for it...

  4. Hi Amythyst88, I just want to know regarding the Administrative Processing(AP) u received before issuing u the visa if its the same with mine...Saying:

We are unable to complete the processing of your immigrant visa application under section 221 (g) and INA as amended, until u present the ff documents or complete required action from your end:

    (No document specified)

    WHAT TO DO:

    - WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US: Your case requires further administrative processing/review. Wait for letter instructing you want to do next.

I was interviewed March 29th and the consulate told me that I am approved. I even went to the step 5 and they told me to just wait for my visa. but i went home and got an email of AP and there was no specific documents that needed to submit and they replied just saying that 'mandatory security checks have to be completed for visa issuance. Technical requirements cause us to usually need additional time to process a visa'. I am still waiting and feeling frustrated cos my medical will expire on June 9 and i have to depart or else I will redo my med exam which is so stressful cos i will have sputum test again if ever...

Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks very much

  5. Hi Hank_, Thank you for your reply... yes i think that's all i can do for now is to wait for their next letter since i also called them up yesterday and the same think they said to me is to wait.

Hi Brassballs, I called them up right after i read their email to me for clarification but said the same thing to me and so I instead send them an email too and hope to hear from them within 7 days. Regarding the new thread, I actually started a new thread and hoping someone will give feedbacks but sadly no one did not until i decided to join the thread to see if someone will help me and thanks for having 2 replies.. With my new thread, i had 1 reply after having a reply from this group.

Anyway, thanks again Hank_ and Brassballs for your help, appreciate it ver much :goofy:

  6. Hi Triked, thank you so much for your reply. I am just so worried cos my medical will expire on June 9, 2016 and I was advice to fly before that expiry date or else I will again go through the medical and sputum test that lasted for 2 months before I was vaccinated having a negative result and with this AP which they don't give time frame. I am so pressured... but thank u again :goofy:

I just had my interview this morning and i was approved by the american consulate but upon returning home I receive and an email from US consular Office stating the ff:

  9. I agree with the others...you need to set boundaries ... it will not be easy for sure because you will hearing words from them and they will make you feel guilty but BE FIRM! You can still 'help' where u r comfortable but not an 'obligation'.

Parents are the one who is the one responsible in providing for their children need and not you.

  10. Hi again, I just got an email from the lawyer who filed for the petition and now it was already approved (which is the only scope of her service) but still waiting for the physical letter of NOA2. She was telling me to mail to my fiancee USC my NBI clearance so my fiancee can send it to NVC. I am so confuse because she refuse to answer the procedures I am asking her cos her work was already done and with the info i am getting here is totally different from what she was telling me... Need help please.

    Thank u so much
